The most I have ever done really, is dog sit my mums mutts while she went, er werever it was she went a couple of Novembers ago, that was straight forward enouht really, just feed em, let em out back and DONT TAKE THEM FOR WALKS COZ YOU WILL LOSE THEM....as if

Now from tomorrow Im chamelion sitting, which is quite exciting but I think I might end up accidentally killing this one. I can't even keep cactuses alive and this little dude needs SPRAYING with water instead f being given it to drink

I also have to feed him live crickets...I can see that going pear shaped....

Poor Clives days are numbered

I can see that going pear shaped.... Anyway, anyone ever killed anything they were pet sitting?

Someone killed my fish while they were looking after them, well, 2 people have actually. Twats

I...well inadvertently killed a grandpa while pet sitting... >.> Family left me in charge of their fish and cats while they left...they said nothing about a grandpa living with them. It was in the middle of the winter and I locked the door behind me after feeding the animals. Grandpa froze to death. I was around eleven but I still feel bad.

The shit? ^

I've never killed anything. I like pet sitting, though. The chance to interact with animals is always great and friends' pets are always good, even if they're not actually good.

I suppose you could say I've "sat" horses and cats, since I've worked in several stables and a cattery. None of the animals were ever harmed in my care, I'll have you know.

So we have a murderer in FFF?

EDIT: To add to that *ahem*, I babysit all the time for my little 4 year old brother so that's pretty much like pet-sitting as that boy is crazy!

Well its not like I went out of my way to off him. I didn't know they had a grandpa and apparently he couldn't go out with them. Its mostly their fault though, for both not telling me about him and for leaving him. I guess he had something like altimeters, it was years ago and I was to upset to understand what his problem was. So instead of going and knocking on somebodies door like a sane person I guess he stood outside the house waiting for them to open it up...
On the other hand though, I did a great job with their pets. And no, they did not hire me back to watch their animals.

Putting the past behind and on subject though, I really didn't like doing it that much. Having to walk around somebody else s house and care for their pets didn't do anything for me. I'm a pet person, just not to into other people's pets.
Hell, I had a roommate that disappeared on me for three months... I didn't even notice till the end of the first month when I went to pay rent. He had a ferret and fishes, poor sons of bitches almost starved to death.

Killed? Thank god I haven't. I had to watch after my mom's six dogs this past weekend. She went to the beach with some of her friends. They were a pain in the ass, but they survived.

Oh...some fish died under my supervision a ways back, but that wasn't my fault.

Well, Clive still lives, I've been remembering to turn his light on and off daily, check his heat mat is still working and spraying him with water at least twice of day, I just had him out roaming on my head. He's well nifty. I've ordered Army Guy to get hima waterfall thingy (which you can apparently buy) so he can get himself drinks whenever he feels like it. Feeding time is weird, you dont have to do it everyday. I feel sorry for the crickets though......poor little buggers. He looks mint when he shoots his tongue out though :monster:

I took a couple of pics of him aswel, he's epiiiiiiiic

I've never really been personally asked to petsit, although the lady nextdoor went on holiday last week and her cat came round to ours a lot wanting food. xD It's such a sweet dainty little thing, makes my cat look like a big fatty. <_< It wouldn't eat any of my cat's food though so my mum had to give it bits of the chicken she cooked for dinner. :wacky:

I would probably feel more comfortable babysitting someone's kid than petsitting anyway. <_< I love animals and all but you never know if they're going to bite you or something, and it's easier to entertain babies because they're just little people. D:

Haha, I know what you mean, looking after my brother is like taking care of a small puppy. :gasp:

well once upon a time i Dog, fish and catsat for my Aunt, but three days into it i had to go and buy them a new goldfish, i think i drowned the one i was looking after, memo to self don't put fish in lemonade it they don't like it, their cat and dog managed to survive the full week though, although their dog did get on my nerves

I have 3 dogs that need looking after, Megan is alright because she's house trained and we've had her for 3 years she knows what she's not allowed to do. Both Bonnie and Clyde (I despise the fucker who gave them their names -__-) are house trained as well but because they're puppies (8 and 11 weeks) they have a bad habit of chewing everything...although, it is funny when Clyde steals the mothers handbag because he he gets a slap on the nose he goes in a mood and stamps his paw xDDDD
