Didnt know where to out this, sorry :|

Im peeved cause I need this game so badly and its already out in Japan. Since November 1st. But sadly there hasnt been any mention of it in the States or anywhere else.


If anyone has any info on it, please could you post it!!!! Thank you:tighthug:
 
I can't find any western release date for Persona 3 PSP, sorry. Not even Wikipedia's entry for it has any western release date.

According to it, there hasn't been an announcement of a western release date (yet, hopefully). They had better go ahead and release it for the west because I haven't actually picked up Persona 3 yet.
 
Thanks for looking hun. I hope they do release it cause they have done with 3 and 4. It would be a pity cause you can be a female character in this one, would be so awesome. Cant import neither cause it would be in Japanese. Le sigh :(
 
Why slim? I dont understand why they wont release in the States for another year just cause theyve released the remake of P1.

Persona 3 Portable incorporates a number of enhancements from Shin Megami Tensei: Persona 4. You can get a part time job, directly control your teammates, and use skill cards to customize personae. Beat Persona 3? This version has five difficulty levels and a female protagonist with a divergent storyline. Her journey has bits of fanservice that connect Persona 3 to Persona 4.

No pre-order bonuses or anything announced yet, but then July is a ways off. Oh, and PSPgo owners needn’t fret; the announcement says the PSN version will release in July as well.

Hazar. I recently bought P3 FES and P4, started playing them both but I slowly drifted from them. Don't know why. But I'd buy P3P when it's released. For some reason, I seem to want to play games more on a portable console.
 
I purchased Persona for the PSP, remake of the first game to kinda tie me over on my PSP till this comes out. I so cannot wait, July is sooooooooo far away :(

That game was a monstrosity and one of the worst RPG experiences I've ever encountered. I can only pray that the remake of the third game makes up for it's sins.
 
Ummmm I might plan on buying this psp remake because I loved Persona 3 and even FES was awesome!!! I hope this does not end up bad. Will it have more stuff from persona 3 or even more scenes?

It has some more scenes, due to there being an all new female protagonist. There will be more social links and new people to make them with. If you chose the female protagonist, Elizabeth's bro will become Igor's assistant in the Velvet Room if you want.

I think 1 is brilliant and Im so happy it was remade with better maps and for those who never got to play it.

Its nice being able to be a female character with the coolio male cast of 3. Hopefully 4 may get the same treatment.
 
I can't wait to get this, I particularly like that we'll be able to control ALL characters in battle. That's amazing, especially since the AI in the PS2 version isn't fantastic. Mitsuru is an incredible character until she learns Tentafaroo (at least, I think that's what it was called) because then the computer keeps trying to get her to confuse the enemies with it. -__-

It'll just be fun to have it portable too! Persona 3 is an amazing game overall :yay:
 
I have serious doubts as to whether or not we Europeans will see this game now, because I don't think the first Persona port has ever been released in PAL territories. If they haven't released the first one, chances are they're probably not going to bother releasing 3 over here either.

I do hope I'm wrong there though and I have seen stranger things happen, so I'm still waiting in anticipation. Importing PSP games to Britain isn't really a convenient thing for me to do.
 
Im gald the PSP is multi regional because of this situation. Im hoping we do get a release date over here in Europe. If not, then it will be ebay for me then. Im getting this no matter what.

But yeah, I loved P3 so much, I have no qualms about buying it again on the go. I know a lot of people are miffed that a P2 PSP remake wasn't announced (and, okay, I admit I would have rather had that than P3P) but I'm still psyched for it.

Even more so 'cause I wanna see the FMC story and how it might differ from the MC's story.

And I wanna see her score with all the guys - go get 'em, girl :awesome:
 
I can't wait for this one myself.

Sure, I have P3 FES, but it's getting quite frustrating for me to finish, especially when this one lets you control your party when it comes out here.

Plus, the female storyline seems really interesting too.

I'd figure I'll keep a male story as a backup (since i've experienced FES already) and do the female first.
Sadly, IIRC, there's no way to cross the MC's in a single playthrough, so that makes me kinda sad. That was one thing I hoped to not have to just leave to fanfiction, but oh well. I'll live. XD
