What are your thoughts concerning public displays of affection? Is it acceptable in polite society? And if so, to what extent, please elaborate.

It really depends. I don't care about holding hands, hugs and light kisses. But making out. :dry: Um, take that to your room.

Then you can throw your garbage anywhere and clean it up later. Or get yelled at by your mom (The police).

I tend to not like public displays of affection when I am single. It makes me sort of jealous and sad at the same time. Also, it's like you're showing off to everyone on how you're loved and they're not. xD.

If I do have someone, though I am all for it. That is...er...I'll not type that.

Heh, well I suppose hugs, holding hands, and pecks are okay. I used to be extremely shy though, that I wouldn't do any of those things in public at all! I thought it was inappropriate, and it would make him feel frustrated. :rolleyes: Boys!

But yeah, I agree with Rydia on this. If you're gonna make out, do it somewhere in private...although I've made out in a movie theatre before, but atleast it was dark. I was next to my brother too...and he told my dad and uncle about it when we got home. >.<

EDIT: Oops, thanks for pointing that out, Rydia. I certainly didn't want people to misunderstand me.

I personally think it's just rude and adolescent to make out in public. Holding hands, Quick kisses and hugging is alright, but I fully agree that people who want to make out in public should keep it private.
 
Keep the mushy shit private. I don't let other people watch me make-out in public and grope a girl or constantly have my arms around her while she's trying to go through the checkout while buying milk and eggs...
