Help [Original] Need Materia Help/Guidelines

Well I have decided to play FFVII again, and i have also decided to swap Red for Vincent in my party (red level 58,vincent level 48 (big difference i know) ).

Key: 3x Fire is i have 3 fires,not the level of it.

About my materia:

Level 3 on all Elementals (earth,fire,lightning,etc)
1 MASTER fire

Green Materia:

3x Fires
2x Lightnings
1x Ice
1x Earth
1x Poison
1x Gravity (Demi)
1x Barrier
1x Comet
1x Time
1x Destruct
1x Contain
1x Full Cure
1x Ultima

Yellow Materia:

3x Enemy Skills
2x Senses
1x Manipulate
1x DeathBlow
1x Morph
1x Steal
1x W-Item
1x Double Cut

Purple Materia:

4x HP plus
3x Chocobo Lure
3x Speed Plus
2x MP plus
1x Luck plus
1x Magic plus
2x Cover
1x Counter
1x Long Range

Blue:

5x Alls
1x Added Cut
1x Added Effect
1x Hp Turbo
1x MP Turbo

Don't think i need to put summons as i have all except Typhoon.They aren't very high leveled. Bahamut,Alexander,Ifrit are all level 2,and that's the highest.

Helping me out will be GREATLY appreciated,

What skills do you have on your E.Skills? Vincent is better used as a caster unless you take the time to level up his ultimate weapon. That is if you didn't miss it. It'd also help to know the number of slots you have on weapon and armor. If you have the wizard bracelet equip that. If not it can be found in Mideel. And it'd help to know how far into the game you are.

Death Sentence
Magic Breath

The 3rd hasn't got anything,might put beta on it,and will get dragon force from the dragon in N Cave

Armour And Weapons:

Cloud:
Ultima Weapon - 8 Slots- all 2 paired
Dragon Armlet- 6 slots - all 2 paired
Ribbon- protects status alignments

Barret:

Missing Score - 8 slot- all 2 paired
Mystile - 6 slot- all 2 paired
Water Ring - drains water attacks

Vincent:

Death Penalty - 8 slot - all 2 paired
Wizard Bracelet - 8 slot - all 2 paired
Poison Ring - drains and protects against poison

Beta is only good early in the game for the most part, Get magic hammer too. That'll save you on ethers. I'm going to build Vincent to use spells.

Cure=All Fire=All Ice=All Enemy Skill MP Plus - Weapon
Bahumut Zero=MP Absorb Time=All Hades=Added Effect Final Attack=Phoenix - Armor

Fire and Ice are mainly for random encounters. For bosses you can replace them with the following.

Poison Ultima Full Cure Heal

MP Absorb depends on if your on disc 2 or 3. I'll need to change that if you're on disc 3 or have parachuted into Midgar. Final Attack can be gotten from the special battles in Gold Saucer. Cave Near Madeel, you'll need a green chocobo. Full Cure is in Cosmo Canyon in the item shop.

I'm at the Northern Cave,but i will be using this on my fresh game which is Cloud,Barret,Vincent.

I'll get Final Attack just now.What should i give the other guys?

Cloud

Hp Plus x 2 Long Range W-Item Coin Cut (preferably with 4x on it) Counter=Death Blow W-Summon Alexander Kjata Rest are free

Barret

Counter attack and Cut if you master it. Other wise just put as many master materia as you can to power up his ultimate weapon which deal damage based on the AP of materia equipped to the weapon. If you want you can move W-Item from Cloud to Barret and give cloud a cure for some extra healing. Thanks to Long Range your entire party will get a boost to defense reducing damage from physical attacks. Pending you don't give Barret a melee weapon and just stick to guns.

On a side note, you'll need levels in the summons for those to work. Otherwise they'll only work once and wont fire again.

EDIT: I'd also recommend Giving the Ziedrich to Barret and Mystile to Cloud for armor.

For the free slots, put in stat pluses? like HP and MP?

For coin you need to level throw. And the stats you want are up to you. Though You want high AP materia on Barret's ultima weapon and they have to be mastered. If you put all KotR on it you can do more then 9999 damage but that's a glitch.

Be strong

Added effect contain/destruct is good.

You don't have a lot of materia so its not hard to work with.

Comet, contain, and ultima can be divided between your party.
If you have restore on one of your team mates give full cure to the next guy, as you will have more healers. Give 2x cut to your strongest attacker. W-item on anyone and go ahead and get 99 of every item you can with the glitch. Perfer you to go ahead and put Long range on Cloud so you can put him in the back row. Also put HP plus on who ever has the less amount of HP.

Its important to know that Ultimate weapons don't level up materia. So you may want to shuffle around and put what you do want to level on your armor, or switch weapons and level up all at once.
