The Chocobo race in the Calm Lands. First try I got a time of 0:0:4.

I was THAT close! Now I just can't get anywhere near it, best I've done is 4 seconds. Man this is annoying, I used to be quite good at it too.

Any first time lucky people here?
 
Just done it, 37 odd seconds, 13 balloons and no birds. :D

I found it easier using the analogue stick, was using the D-Pad before, then went to the analogue stick and second try with it I done it.

Man that was annoying.
 
Mine was 0:0:3 at my closest, if I ever suffer from high blood pressure, Im betting I can pin the blame on this game and it's stupid side quests
 
It only took me a couple of tries before i got a perfect score lol
The most annoying bit is when the chocobo decides to steer hard to the left, even though your tellin it to go the other way. BAM right into a bird.
 
Took me a couple of tries to get it (around 30) the closest I got was 0:0:1. I almost quit after that, lol.
 
This was one of the few FFX sidequests I was actually good at. My first attempt it took me about 10 tries to get it... and only 3 when I got Busta's. I couldn't do the butterflies or the lightning dodging but I was good at the chocobo race.
 
It was aggrovating when I was getting closer and continuously getting 0:01 or something. That REALLY annoyed me.
I've done it now though lol :)
 
Last few times I could do it fairly easily, but today it was just annoying lol. My first replay in about a year and half.
 
My second time was my lucky. It helps if you hold R1, R2, L1, L2 while controlling your chocobo. That way it's easier. I don't know how but it just is. I read about it somewhere.
