Stretch a bit -Nyte

OKaaaay!
It's been a lil minute since I came out wit a hit.
So, now I'm gettin off my ass stretchin' out a bit.
Hip-hop on the rocks, the new Op for kids
Somebody need to stop em'
Drop em' a lesson, tell em' what hip-hop is.
Mr. Nyte in the class and I'm ready for biz
listen to the lyrics I'm rippin'
You'll see how ready I iz.
Please turn ya books to page 101
Get a lesson on rap, we gonna have some fun!
you won't finish any sentence without the word "son"
You'll be hip-hop legend by the time I done
Oh!

I'm stretchin out a bit
Gettin' wild a bit
been a lil while
But I'm out the house
Don't mind me
I'm just tryin to find my style again.

Yes! (Yes!)
I gotta write 16 flows
go to a show, for sho'
Rock the globe, y'know wit only 16 shows.
At least one in every major Capital.
tell the world leaders "I got a rap for you"
stop actin' like asses is what you have to do.
Listen to the people is a task for you
Maybe then killaz won't be after you.
I didn't have to pass math class to add that, dude.
See me, I cold never be a politic
all the fake smiles and all that ****
I'd be on the news everyday from the jaws I split.
Yeah!

I'm stretchin out a bit
Gettin' wild a bit
been a lil while
But I'm out the house
Don't mind me
I'm just tryin to find my style again.

Silly? yes, I know.
But eh! It's been a while so..whatever.

-Untitled-

I don't have to say it.
I know you hear it all the time.
Let me stop my playin'
Show me the dotted line.
Baby girl, You're fine.
There no body better.
You're my bit on sunshine,
When I'm in the stormy wheather.
Together we can take the world.
You can have what you want and more
Whatevers your is mine, whats mine is yours.
Down to ride like Bonnie and Claude
except we don't gotta drive down that road.
You can be the star of the show, like Marylin Monroe
You know I hold you in the highest respect
that's why I blessed you wit some shinin' Ice
and a kiss on ya neck.
Yeah!

Personally I liked the second one a lil' better. The first one, Dae you should really isn't normally my style.

Wise up

Why must we descise our lives
in the lust in the lies?
The cheatin' on the wives
ruinin' the lives
I see ladies really try
To do me like them other guys
Baby open up ya eyes.
The way that you livin' isn't very wise.
I ain't tryin' to run yo life
But I strongly advise.
Before you find ya self cought up.
brought up in all that mess
got ya plan restin in the flies.
Showin' off her thighs
for them guys wit wide eyes
deep pocket on the side.
Some guy offers you a ride
try a dolla to holla for the slip n' the slide.
Then come the files, the cases and the trials
First thing they look in to is the kinda life style.
Baby girl, skip all that mess and give it up
I'm talkin' to lost girls, y'all need to wise up.

I just heard some news that had me thinkin' about somethin serious.
For those who don't know Kanye West's mother passed away Frieday.
It's so sad cuz he's at the top of his game right now and to be hit with such a tragedy is just so unexspected. It gave me alot to think about... Everytime I leave home my mom always tell me how much she loves me and how proud she is and I'm always like " Ok mom, I gotta go! "
It's a shame somethin' like this had to happen for me to realize my relationship with my mom. So, I've decided to Write a lil' somethin; for her, this is just what I'm thinkin' up right now. The edited version will be for her to hear.

In honor of Donda West and all the single mothers
"Hey Mama"

[Chorus]
Hey Mama, ahhhhhhhhhh, I wanna scream so loud for you
'Cause I'm so proud of you, let me tell you what I'm about to do (Hey Mama)
I know I act a fool, but I promise you I'm going back to school
I appreciate that you alive for me, I just want you to be proud of me (Hey Mama)

Hey mama, I just call to say "thank you"
Tell I love you and to appoligize
for thr hard time I gave you.
You were always there for me
Bustin' ya neck to do the little things
you did because you cared for me.
You behind me in everything I did
No matter what it is I wanted to do
and I I needd support I knew to
Count on you.
I gotta get you a place outta state
so you can come and move
it's not much, but it' the least I could do.
You can pops back together all of that is cool.
But your a strong black woman, you can see anything through.
Ever since I left I've been call everyday
I know I ask for money
but it just I'm too embarressed to say

Chorus]
Hey Mama, ahhhhhhhhhh, I wanna scream so loud for you
'Cause I'm so proud of you, let me tell you what I'm about to do (Hey Mama)
I know I act a fool, but I promise you I'm going back to school
I appreciate that you alive for me, I just want you to be proud of me (Hey Mama)

When I was a lil' kid you always stayed real
Workin hard everyday, so we can eat a meal.
Always listened to me for hours no matter how you'd feel.
You tought me that respect will take me further than momey will.
And I never will forget that for as long that I live.
Gone some stuff that worked us all, but never even stubmled
You always stood tall.
You never fall, thorugh al the mess you still stayed clean
Always looked ya best and still stayed mean.
Rauches and rat under my bed, rent is a few months late
but you kept a cool head. 2 jobs and 4 kids that's some
wonder woman shit! Not a lot of women would done what you did.
You coulda gave me to my pops and said " To hell wit it "
But you stayed 12 rounds and now ya crowns fitted.

Chorus]
Hey Mama, ahhhhhhhhhh, I wanna scream so loud for you
'Cause I'm so proud of you, let me tell you what I'm about to do (Hey Mama)
I know I act a fool, but I promise you I'm going back to school
I appreciate that you alive for me, I just want you to be proud of me (Hey Mama)

I got a Melody for Melody
Thanks for lettin' be the best I can be.
And tellin' me to never rest
now I reach you the top
and won't stop til' Im the best.
You bought me new kicks
to go to school wit.
So the next thing I'm gettin for you
is a cool whip.
I know you favrite colors green
Tinted windows on the side
wit some rims lookin mean.
No limit to my thanks
it's all from me
I'm givin' it all to the
very special woman that never gave up on me

Wow... I like those. The thing I hate about reading songs is that I can't tell the beat or rythm... stuff like that.

Thanks you guys. I think I could do better if I took the time to actually write somethin' . But these are pretty good as they are..<!-- google_ad_section_end -->

I try to stick with what gave Hip-Hop it's edge, seems that everyone forgot what that was so the genre is dyin, sad to say...

I don't know about dying, then again I've never really had a lot of time for hip-hop. Structurally these songs/ raps (should you prefer) are fairly impressive but lyrically they do sound a bit vacant. That might be just me though because I like rather profound songwriters such as The Decemberists.
My thoughts anyway. Apologies for being a twat.

Yea I don't listen to hip-hop much either but I have heard some and I do like it more than the real stupid rap songs where you can't even tell what the rapper is saying...

No need for apologies, Your opinions are welcome. I know they seem a little vacant, however keep in mind I'm not workin' at 100% here. I don't really have time to. These are just ideas,They're not final. A lot of what I do isn't really, hate to go halfassed but it's the least I can do right now. But it is better than what I've seen before in some forums. It's just I'm following the advice Jay-Z gave to Ne-yo; He said " When you write a song take it easy, let it come to you. If you work for it it becomes a job, if its a job its all work and no soul." Makes sence to me so I follow that. I know I should put more effort in it but again theres not much I can do right now until I find time to really put my mind to it.

Alright then. Well, fair enough I guess. I tend not to post my work unless I think it's the best work I had at the time. I'm really happy with the last set of lyrics I posted. Oh, well, each to their own I guess. See you.

.....Anyway. Moving on.
Got a good Idea to write a lil' somgthin' so here it goes.

I feel like an everyday slave
I'm gettin' impatiant waitin' on a pay raise.
"More Money More Problems"
that's what they say.
I'd rather have problems with people
than have em' with what my bank say.
Instead of playin the blame game
I'm doin' the damn thing
And when I get my money
tell Jay and Diddy to make way.
I ain't paid but at least
I'm paying attention.
Learnin on the bottom
that's my intution.
Yo, my current mission
is just play my position.
When opertunity knocks
I'll invite em' into the kitchen.
Broke people be givin' me advise
I don't even listen.
How you gonna tell me 'bout
somethin' that you ain't even gettin'?
Excuse me, did you say somethin'
Uh uh! You can't tell me nothin' !
Haha! You can't tell me nothin' !

La-Laa-la-la
Wait 'til I get my Money right

La-laa-la-la
Then they can't tell me nothin', right?
Excuse me, did you say somethin' ?
Uh uh! you can't tell me nothin' !

The Awakening

One by one my lyrics wonder
out of deep slumber
The beat bumbin'
no false vibe
I've been patiently waitin'
on a beat to make my soul ride.
So fly, so smooth
No cars, or jewels.
Just life, the dark, the light.
the wrongs , the right.
in a flow so tight.
Like the jaws of life
Yo, it brings back life.
Not only in the lyrics
but also in the genre
Words about power,
dignity and honor.
it's not an awakening
for just myself, oh no!
Not only for me, but for hip-hop's soul.

Yeah, I like this one.

If I ruled the World.

Can you imagine
life without taxes, cops harrassin',
Junkies and addicts dime-baggin'
Alcoholic bastards, drivin' fast
which adds to tragic car crashes.
Lights flashin' young mothers askin'
What happened to her baby boy,
had a future in rappin'
now his life is distroyed.
If I ruled the world
Not a another mother's tear would drop.
MADD agents on every stop
make a way for youngin' to never sip a drop
Mad props go to pops
Stuck to the spot when things got hot.
I'd find some way to make it right
For them young tikes that had it tight
because they never had a dad in their life.

Imagine that

If I ruled the world
I'd make a save haven
For young black maidens,
A place thats safe for kids
to play n' raised in.
Make sure that my brothers
and sister in arms in Iraq,
that they see no harm
and make it back.
Be the nineth world wonder
end world hunger.
Create a name in the
rap game, put the fakaz to shame,
and shine so bright
even Stevie can see me commin'.
Still make hits off of what's real,
never kick that braggin' raps
and reach No. 1
Tell me you can imagine that

Back Down (Ether)

You posers need to BACK DOWN!

You foolish jokas got too much pride
How you the best rapper alive, and hov still alive?
The south hates Nas cuz he said hip-hop is Dead
How do they object witht the knife still in ya hand?

You fakas need to
(Back Down!)

You don't give a fu** about Rap
You don't deserve my hatred
This goes out to all of you
who need to quit pretendin'
That's means I'm talkin' to you
if you should find this offensive.
