Okay, for about a week now maybe a day less than that, I have had some notifications that refuse to go away. :gonk:

One is an invitation to a group that I cannot except. It says I'm not allowed or has the privileges, to join. I was like "okay, go away then" but it won't go away no matter how many times I click it. Here is an image, if its needed...

Another is for achievements/awards. Everytime I refresh the page, a pop comes up and drags me to the page but the notification never goes away.

I wasn't going to make a thread about it and just ignore it, but its getting annoying. Whenever I log in or refresh the page, I'm dragged away to the notification box. I was wondering if this was a problem of some sort? Or if its something I'm doing?

I checked to see if I can disable notifications, but I don't want to do that. I want the warnings, but I don't want it to stay there forever. Its going to build up and possibly slow the site down even more for me.

Is there anything that can be done?

I have the same problem but i have been invited to a group that I don't want to attend and there is no way of deleting it from my notifications!!
how does fix?
 
You have no choice but to spend 800 points and join that group I believe or decline it I think? It was locked and they decided to have it in the vb shop I believe.. :hmmm:
 
but even before the social groups were locked, you still couldn't decline the invite and the notification would stay up there forever, its annoying D:
 
I cannot decline or accept, it says I don't have permission to be seeing the page or groups. So in order to get the notification gone or accepted, I have to pay with points?

yeah but I don't wanna join it D: whats the point in social groups if I can't pick which ones i want and decline the ones I don't? ;3;
 
I'm fairly certain you can decline...I saw it somewhere though it did take me awhile to find. :hmmm: I know what you guys are talking about though - I had a notification (before the Social Groups was put up on vBShop) for a Social Group invitation that I left unattended for about a week, and it wouldn't go away until I join or decline. I'll have to test this and see if I can screenshot it.

My problem is that I cannot see invitations or accept/decline them. I don't have the permission to see the page or make a choice... :(

anyway, I can't decline until I buy rights to use social groups anyway :(

Sorry about this guys, I guess it can't be helped. :hmmm: It'll stay there unless you have permissions to view Social Groups, which can be bought at the vBShop.
 
So then, I have to buy the right to view the invitation, right? If that is so, how do I build up those points? >.<

I can't view the shop sometimes. Sometimes it allows me in and some times it doesn't. :0
 
Keep on posting, be active and give visitor messages and such. I think that is the gist of it. :hmmm:
