Wich one did you start with?

If you started with normal and created a new game (not +) on hard, how did you feel about the difficulty hard?

If you started with hard and created a new game (not +) on normal, how did you think about the difficulty normal?

I'd say i started with Hard Mode and didn't find any trouble at all. There where times i jumped into one category in missions that i came so deep in that i got killed by 1 hit but that was because i was to daring. I started a new game on normal and I thought i could clear all the "To end the war with the wutai" missions after the actual wutai mission in chapter 2 (except the wutai mission you get by capturing spies).

I did normal for both :wacky:

My experiences with doing things in Hard Mode aren't good, unfortunately, it made my second run through really boring and tedious. I was only doing it for the missions and it pained me to have to go through the story again when I was that strong >_<

I'l never ever do the missions again EVER, but I might have a crack at storymoding in Hard at some point.....

I don't think you can fix storymode on unless you do some crazy 3 hour grinding each chapter and can get materia and equipment out of nowhere, or maybe it is possible but that is a hell...
A low level game is great to challenge yourself but on hard mode you better watch out. I didn't get the gravity spell before the mako reactor in midgar and i got stuck just before you meet those three crazy machines.

I started off in Hard mode because i like the challenge of it... and it was rather challenging... so i enjoyed it quite a lot. Some of it was a bit to hard and i died several times, but i managed through it finally and beat it.

When I first started out on the game, I played through on Normal, as I had not leveled up at all because it was just starting out, thought it'd be most fitting to play it on Hard when I've got stuff to work with.

As for the main story difficulty, I thought it was awfully easy, with the leveling up and items acquired from Missions, I would be one hit killing everything before long, and I was practically immune to damage from their attacks. XP

At first, I was still one hit killing pretty much everything as I started out on Hard after beating the end on Normal, but some of the later missions got pretty nasty, and it would take some hits to take down enemies further into the main story, but Costly Punch really minimized the amount of hits I had to land on the enemies considerably. :P

I've probably been through the main story some 4 or so times now, I just love Crisis Core, really enjoyable gameplay, Bahamut is my favourite of the summons to watch when it comes in DMW, I have so I can equip Materia that makes it come up a lot more often (and for other summons and characters too). :awesome:

I was thinking of starting a new file on hard actually, I jsut want to mooch through it for the story tbh, providing my PSP hasnt eaten my save data like my DS did for RW :rage:

THough, I imagine at level 96, hard mode will still be a walk in the park..... I don't have much luck when it comes to playing games on hard mode so I think it's just kill me to start from scratch on hard mode, though I MAY give it a bash at some point...

I agree to a point on the hard mode being boring. First all I thought there were wayyyy to many missions. So when I was playing it the second time through with more enemies with higher resistances.. I was banging my head against walls. I'm not saying the game was to hard, I'm just saying I didn't want to dive into hours and hours of missions again.

Normal mode was getting boring towards the end because of the missions. I was in it primarily for the story line.

I started off the first time with Normal mode. I wanted to get used to the controls, and it really did help. I then did normal again, and did EVERYTHING. I talked to everyone, and tried to complete every single mission. (I only had one left, damnit, someone erased my file :rage: ) The I played hard mode. I had a lot of fun each time.

Just like Sor except I did everything first go. I had planed to play it again from the get go but after two shotting the final boss I got depressed and put it down. I started hard a while back but lent the charger to a friend so I need to get it back before I can play again. :P

I began in normal, getting everything as I came up with it. This first play through was very fun, although the main storyline was... uh... slightly boring. Unless you consider the opponent's futile (lame?) attempts to take you down, :P

Anyways, a few months afterwards, I decided to start a Hard game from scratch. It was significantly harder after months of not playing, and this time dodging was everything. Eventually Dissidia came out and I stopped playing. When I was going to continue... well there were other things to do. But now I guess I could resume playing Crisis Core, :D

I started out with normal and I never got around to trying Hard mode (Not even after clearing XD). I guess that I was expecting to get completely crushed after only a few missions ... On normal i thought it was hard enough. I'm currently in the chamber before the last boss battle with Genesis Avatar and Genesis and I'm trying to finish the missions. I got stuck so many times on the later ones that I couldn't imagine playing through on hard ...
