Nobuo Uematsu was legend

you know, why Nobuo is not anymore with ff7 remake?
he was THE legend, making the game even more hypnotizing as it was.
also in ff8, which music was also his accomplishment

I definitely take your point, although I'm happy enough with the soundtrack for the Remake, it's obviously just reworks of the themes we already had (that rendition of The Promised Land at the start of the Remake is by far my favourite piece). It's a bit of a pity that we didn't get anything substantially new, and it would have been awesome to have Nobuo Uematsu on it. I think he did great work on Advent Children bringing in fresh soundscapes while also heavily integrating his previous work for FFVII - would have been nice to see something similar for the Remake.
