Well, basically, I thought I'd look through whatever old messages I left from the last time I was here. What do I find? Well, nothing. It's not that the messages are gone, it's that there's no link or tab to take me to my personal messages.

Has the system been abolished?

Your account probably has the feature disabled. I don't know why, though it was most likely through an act of spite when "it" was all happening.

You'll get your permissions back when DB returns.

Ah, that would explain why there's also no option in my CP, which allows me to say who does and does not get to send me PM's.

Check now. I think since you were bumped up to Veteran Member for your usergroup, the PM settings were neglected and it said that Veteran Members could not use the feature. Most likely an accidental omission.

It does work now, cheers Although it appears that banning causes PM's to be deleted. Oh well :]
