Does anybody have download it a game from the WiiWare yet?

Today i ended buying "FF: Crystal Chronicles - My Life as a King" just 'cause i've seen some trailers on the net and i was curious.

The game itself is pretty good. It has something that keep you playing for hours and hours even when it could look boring the fact that you actually never engage in a battle by yourself. It's more like a mix between FF: Tactics, Sims and any RTS (i.e. Age of Empire). It's worthy if you like that kind of games.

I haven't download it any other game, but I'm pretty sure i'll end buying "Defend Your Castle" by the weekend. If Nintendo and all other 3rd parties keep making good and original content for the WiiWare it could become a serious equivalent to the Xbox Market Place and the PlayStation Store.

Current List of WiiWare Content:

- Final Fantasy: Crystal Chronicles - My Life as a King (1500 Wiipoints)
- LostWind (1000 Wiipoints)
- TVShow King (1000 Wiipoints)
- V.I.P. Casino: Blackjack (700 Wiipoints)
- Pop (700 Wiipoints)
- Defend Your Castle (500 Wiipoints)

There isn't any announced day in which the Ware would be updated; so, you need to keep checking constantly to see if there's something new.

I doubt I'll ever use my sister's Wii for WiiWare...I'm not really a big fan of having to download games straight onto the console, it just doesn't feel right to me :wacky:

It's the same with the PSN store, not having the disk and case makes me feel like I don't properly own the game even though I do :O

I haven't downloaded anything on my Wii yet, except the internet browser, back when it was free xD I really want that CC game though D:

I'm the same, except for games like this ones.

I'll never buy a full game online; the Warhawk experience was enough to me'; always get by the disk. (Also, maybe i could be of the few ones who enjoy reading the game's manuals)

But this kind of "little" games are worth it and there's no way to get it by other way. BTW, i'm still with "My Life as King", now i should have 6 or more hours and i'm even at the half of the town; not even a quarter.

I might buy it anyway, just for the sake of it :wacky:
I don't mind smaller games...or past games like Sonic etc. But apart from not having the game on a disk it takes loads of room on the hard drive...which bugs me for some reason. :wacky:

Nah, I haven't downloaded anything off WiiWare yet. None of the content really looks all that appealing...though I wouldn't mind playing Defend Your Castle. I saw a mini trailer on that game through some downloadable video on the Wii. Looks pretty awesome. haha

I've heard that Lost winds and the FF game are worth a look and there's a couple of others like World of Goo that have caught my interest as well. Gyrostarr looks like good fun.

yea, that gyrostarr looks dank as hell. Ive dl'd the tv show king game, and i must say , its pretty good. The wheel spinning is a little wonky, but otherwise a well rounded trivia game with genuinely challenging questions. there are three difficulty levels, I recommend "genius " if you want to make a good go of it. Also, in the many times Ive already played, I havent had a repeat question--Im thinking its a nobrainer that they download new quetions into the game. Anyway, if you like trivia games, this one is great fun, and a great deal.
