Nintendo Ds vs. Nintento DS Lite

There has been much controversy between these two. some people prefer the DS while others prefer the DS Lite. What I want to know is your opinion, what do you like better?, a DS, DS Lite, or both? For me, I have tried both systems and I prefer the DS Lite over the DS.

How could anyone defend the original DS as being better? The DS Lite has superior technology, being the newest model. It's non-debatable, really.

I have the original DS and I love it, but the DS Lite is better. Better button layout, more compact, brighter screen display, etc...

I had the ds now I have the ds lite
the lite is better smaller, looks better but
now the best part is the light and the screen 4 light tones
and it comes with a protecter if you have no advange games in it
but now the -p the advange games come out of it
but non the less a better version

I had my ex's DS. then he sold it. Last year I bought a pink DS Lite and I so prefer it as it doesnt take up as much room when I carry it about, the light is more powerful and I love the slimness.

I've used both of them and liked the DS Lite out of both as well, but currently don't own either of them. However, I am planning on getting a DS Lite soon.
