Nier Replicant DLC Adds Waves Of Smiley Bullet Hell [5/13]

Square Enix updated Nier Replicant owners with details about their DLC pack. For the most part, it sounds the same as the content in North America right now. So, this wild scene of Nier weaving through a seas of smiley faces is probably in The World of Recycled Vessel.

One key difference is the storyline. Since Nier Replicant features a younger Nier, Square Enix tweaked the storyline a bit. The diary bishonen Nier discovers is from his mother, not his wife.

I got NieR not too long ago and started playing it and thought it was pretty decent, then I got a new job so now don't have time to play it

I hope to play it sometime though because I wanna buy this DLC pack and its a good game.

I downloaded this yesterday. Holy hell, the third door is extremely difficult...avoiding the giant armoured shade isn't the easiest thing to do when you need to get in close to actually deal any damage to it, and one hit kills me. I got past it once thanks to mass dodging, Dark Lance, drops and a lot of twon handed swings, and then got pwned by the three boars in the next room...I'm only level 24 though, so that might have something to do with it...or I could just need to work on my dodging a bit more...y'know, actually timing it instead of darting in and out so much I roll right into attacks sometimes. XD

The music is so wonderfully messed up, as well. Its so much like Drakengard its unbelievable; they must have at least two of the tracks playing simultaneously for it to sound so messed up, and I LOVE that effect. It makes the vocals sound even more awesome. I swear I caught a couple of dance remixes in there, as well...oh, I hope someone online rips this soon and uploads it.

...the fully upgraded DLC two-handed sword (Fool's something? I've forgotten the name already ><) is a real bitch, though. 999 strength and something like 500+ onto magic...it cost me all three of my Damascus Steel, but it was so worth it.

I love how the DLC costumes transform the laser balls into smiley faces, as well. That is just so unbelievably random. I mean, WTF?! XD
