that was a really disappointing draft. leading up to the draft, i was hearing that the giants are gonna trade for braylon edwards. i so wanted that to happer especially since plaxico is gone. i think if they were able to get edwards, i think that would have made them the team to beat. instead they got a reciever who is actually kind of small that people are saying he play big, but in the end he still is small. hopefully that other guy they drafted, who i don't know but i think is like 6'6, hopefully he will develop. for the giants to win the title next year, marion manningham will have to step up, which i think he will if they let him play. that would've been a good duo, edwards and manningham. hopefully the giants will do something and still get edwards

You kidding me? If you're a Giant's fan, you should be absolutely fuckin' ecstatic! They had a ridiculous draft. Nicks, Beatty, Barden, Sintim, Bomar, Beckum and freaking Brown. I can't believe how much value they got. The great got better. You should be getting piss drunk because of that draft.

Can't say I'm dissapointed either. Niners had a spectacular draft.

You know who had a really good draft?

Neither do I. Because you can't tell until at least 3 years down the road. Alex Smith? Cedric Benson? Pacman Jones? Troy Williamson? Mike Williams? etc. etc. etc. Same reason I don't get bent out of shape over college recruiting. Too many variables.

Although I'm not complaining that the Seahawks got the best player in the draft....... *cough*

Curry's gonna bust! Bust! Bust!

Well, I can tell who had the worst draft, and that's the Raiders. Speed isn't everything dammit. Well, all the better for the Chargers.

With the Seahawks' recent history when it comes to drafting LBs high -Tatupu, Leroy Hill, Anthony Simmons - I would vehemently disagree. But again, we'll revisit this 4 years from now and see what happens.

thats where we differ. i don't think any of them will be that great or good. the only one i see that has potential be good is barden, just because of his height. i think getting edwards would have been better than any of the player they drafted and i rather get edwards than any of the players

Um... I hate to burst your bubble but Barden seems the most likely to bust! I'm a Bay guy, and I support everyone from around here but he makes me nervous. He was reached for because of his natural abilities. But I watched him in the Senior Bowl, and although he claims he was hurt, he lacked explosion, had bad cuts (Curved his routes), couldn't get off the jam, and had pretty mediocre speed. But who knows, maybe he'll be great. I hope he does! Especially coming from a D-II school! Plus, 6'6" is a hell of height for a WR.

Not necessarily for that reason, but I don't think Curry will bust. I don't think it's likely he'll be great, but I think it's very unlikely he'll bad. I suspect he'll be very solid to good for many years. I really like him actually.

Haha the chargers got a Canadian player in the fourth round. Hes from Western University (Right by where i live).

All and all i have to say that draft wasn't as good as i though it would have been. Colts didn't do too bad picking up a guy thats as good as addai plus, he can catch too. Should be a good year for them.

My friend's a Charger friend and told me how the Canadian guy benched 225 44 times. WOW!

I thought the first round was very exciting! Many trades, and even more surprising picks. The players do suck, but whatever. Be positive, right?

Donald Brown is going to have a nice career. He looks very solid.

Also, another guy from Canada got signed after the draft: Jamall Lee. Ran a 4.39. I hope he does well!

well thats why i said this was a crappy draft. i rather have edwards than anyone else they drafted. i haven't even seen this barden guy before, i just know he's tall so that should be something but he's the only ok one. and if you're saying he has the biggest chance of being a bust, than mean everyone else they drafted must really suck big time
