New & Old

It always either shows up as everything is old... or everything is new. And I don't even get what that is suppose to mean anyhow. Newly created topics? Newly responded to topics? It just says New and Old... and it's either completely one or completely the other. I've never seen a mix. If this is suppose to help identify new topics, it doesn't work for me. Please do something to make it work.

Also, while we're here... do we really need to see a list of new members that joined? That could probably be replaced with something more useful to help navigate the site. Suggestions on that one...

i think its classed as old if its a topic youve already viewed - thats how it seems to work for me anyway,

Yeah it came up as 'Old' for me before I even clicked into it. I thought maybe it was New for topics or replies that were made before you logged on last, and old if they were made while you were on FFF posting, etc while they were being made.

It can't be... because I came and read your response, thought I was wrong, then checked the list again. This is how it came up:

That's right after I viewed your response, AG. lol And now it says they're all new... and as you can see, I have the last post in the top topic. That means I've definitely viewed it. lol

Well if it's to find new topics by members, than I'd really like to have it. I'd like some way to find new topics that I'd be interested in reading or responding to. It's pretty easy to keep up-to-date with the topics I've already read and replied to with the subscription feature... but I'm still having trouble finding new topics. You really have to do a lot of digging sometimes. That's why I made this topic, which didn't work out. So now I'm asking about this. And you've known the answer because we like JUST talked about this the other day. Cripes...

I just remembered you were always the person that pointed me to the new topics too. lol

Huh? Uh, what do you mean pointed you to new topics?

No, not me pointed me... you pointed me. When someone posted a new topic you were good at finding them and having me post in them. lol I'm having trouble finding new topics now.

Ohhh. Hah, yeah I'm quite good at finding new topics. Lately I've been having a hard time finding good topics though.

Um, well that's why you click on the "Statistics" and browse through them. It's pretty simple, really. That's how I find new or old threads that I want to look at again.

I can find old topics... but the feature he implemented to find new topics... it doesn't freaking work.

Rather you would use it or not or don't even care, the point is if it's broken, the staff should be made aware. There doesn't need to be an argument.
