Anime New Dragonball Special

There's a possibility streaming will be blocked from users outside of Japan? That's a bummer. I'd much rather see Dragonball return this way than with that cruddy live-action movie...

The plot summary is...interesting. Interesting in that it doesn't sound interesting at all.
 
Hopefully this will soften the blow of the car crash the live action movie looks to be.

How can Vegeta's little brother be so young though? Planet Vegeta was destroyed as Goku left to come to Earth, which is when King Vegeta died. So how can he be that young?

I was also wondering that too, but in that last link if you go to character bios or whatever and look at the 4 new people, it says that Tarble is married so maybe he is just short like Krillin and Uub....
 
Was just thinking that too actually. I mean Vegeta is quite short himself, he's probably the smallest Saiyan we've seen (except for the children, but obviously, they're children so bound to be short)

So it could down to the gene-pool.
 
Hmmm, not sure what to think of this. I always said that I would like to see something else added into the series, but now I'm a bit hesitant. Hopefully they do a good job with it.
 
would rather see Dragonball return like this as the Live action film looks crap. Also the storyline looks like another "OMG he is so powerful GOKU SAVEE USSS" *goku arrives and gets ass kicked* "lend me your strength" *everyone asides Vegeta gives goku their remaining strength *Goku and Vegeta argue for 3/4 episodes* "Fine" *vegeta gives goku energy* "yay, just like eating a sensu bean *goku kills bad guy without breaking a sweat*
 
Maybe I missed it while reading the article, but how long is this "new dragonball special" gonna be? Will there be numerous episodes, or will it just be a 30+ minute video?
 
The DBZ movies and specials tend to last anything between 40 and 60 minutes, so doubt this special will be any long to be honest.
