Hi everyone.
You may not know who I'm but I am Dreamer and I used to be very active on the Final Fantasy VII and XIII sections.

Now basically I came across this article from Jeux-France about the S-E list of games for TGS. Now on this list is a Final Fantasy Title called "Endless Crisis: Final Fantasy VII". Now this is obviously a Compilation of Final Fantasy VII Title. So I just thought that maybe here we can discuss what this means..

Personally, based on the other titles I'm assuming this is fake. What I mean is it looks like a list of S-E games fans would want the most. A PS3 KH game a new FFVIII PS3 game etc. However there is a chance that it could be real. So in that case I think there is a possibility that EC could be the remake.. if not I still will be excited for a ps3 ff title.

Anywho hopefully this is worth discussion.

Near Tokyo Game Show which will start on September 20th of this year for the press, here is the last big rumour dates from it from the famous Japanese forum 2ch and that lists between others a new called shutter Endless Crisis Final Fantasy VII on PlayStation 3, as well as three new episodes of the series Kingdom Hearts to appear on PlayStation 3, Nintendo DS, and PSP. Anything official for the time being, this information is agreed to take pair of tweezers with. We shall indeed know about it more in some hours when the first information coming from Japanese magazines Famitsu and Shonen Jump will be broadcast. To follow.

If we think about what the titles have meant in the past:

Before Crisis - a game dedicated to the events before anything we'd ever heard of in the original game.

Crisis Core - a game dedicated to developing the original story by exploring the core points of the past, which led to the events of FFVII.

Endless Crisis - a brand new sequel? I can only see the "endless" part coming from the suggestion that the story of FFVII goes on forever; the damage done by Shin-Ra never truly goes away.

I'm just spit-balling, I don't even believe what I've just said

Just google'd it and it took me to a site where they spoke of "Kingdom Hearts: Chain of Memories 2" (which is obviously meant to be 358/2 Days), and Kingdom Hearts 0 for the PSP (why would they develop another KH game when BbS isn't out yet? It must be BbS), it's possible that the name of this new compilation title is wrong.

Wait what the hell Final Fantasy Vii just got released on the PSN. This is probably fake. Why would they call it endless crisis though or like Dave said the game title can be wrong or it can be Fake. If this would be true why would did SE release Final Fantasy Vii on Psn. They even just announced XIV so who knows if 2010 will be a year of Final Fantasy. XIII and XIV will be released in 2010. Maybe we can hope for a last Vii related game.

Since Tokyo Game Show is probably the best event for Square Enix news, FFXIII and FFXIII Versus will almost definitely be there as will Kingdom Hearts: Birth By Sleep, Final Fantasy XIV, FFXIII Agito and maybe 358/2 Days in English. You're more likely to hear news of Kingdom Hearts III or Star Ocean 4 being ported to Playstation rather than CoM 2 or a new FFVII game. I'm also pretty sure I've read somewhere that SE have finished with FFVII for the time being, and with 5 big projects at least the chances of another FFVII compilation game is very slim. I wouldn't get your hopes up.
