This is taking forever. For those of you who've played this game, have you felt, like me, that it's taking far too long to actually progress with any original story? I'm on day 75 and the only "new" thing that's happened is that
Xion can't use her Keyblade anymore
. Wow; exciting. Everything else that's occurred is stuff we've already seen in the other games, or know about from our surrounding knowledge.

I know that Days is essentially just filling in a year-long gap but I was hoping for it to be filled with less arbitrary missions and more originality. Granted, there was only so much freedom available to the developers but, surely, with their fantastic creativity, they would have been able to come up with something a little more...interesting?

Am I just jumping the gun here; is there a great deal more to come, or do I simply have a horrendously large number of missions to do before the game concludes in a semi-revealing manner (I can guess how the game ends based on how I know Roxas's story ends...I've even taken a stab as to who the final boss will be!)?

At about day 200, it gets pretty good. It was a fun game for me. But some of the bosses are a pain. And, I''l tell you one thing, and that is that Xion........is not what you think. And, there are some weird, not exactly plot-twists, but surprises towards the end of the game. Also, you're coming up to a part when you skip a bunch of days.

Hmmm, it's true that the game is really repetitive and does feel slow in that sense, but if you've played as far as 75 Days, you know there's lots of skips in the days. You don't actually play through every single of the 358 days, so to me, I thought the game moved really fast by the time I finished it.

Story wise, it really does pick up in the latter third or quarter really, so just keep playing :3

I know that it skips some days but it's not like it's skipping 50 or so, it's going up by about 10 days or so each time...and to think that it only pics up in the latter half is going to kill my soul. :(

The beginning's alright since you have the scene set for you, and personally I thought the the last third up until the ending was one of the best of the KH series I've played in terms of storyline. The middle is a bit naff though since it's all about the missions which I didn't really find particularly fun. You will have that overwhelming feeling by the end that a) it was a really good ending to the game and b) there was no real need for the game :wacky:

Eh i didn't really like it because near like about 100 something days it got a bit boring and sorta repetitive and i sorta lost interest in it

I guess they tried to make the game too close to chronicling his daily life to the T. They tried to give almost every detail, even throwing in some days that may not have been needed. It is not as though every day of Roxas's life was fun of excitement and events that added to the overall story. That is why I thought the game was tedious, in a way.

The whole game is pretty tedious, really. Mission after mission over the period of 3 "days" is a complete pain, and then half of the time, you finish said missions, and the story doesn't even progress. It just took so damned long to actually get anywhere with it. Hell, I've put off playing it for a couple of weeks now because of the fact that I have to finish all of the Challenge Mode missions and all that before I actually complete the game, which is a long enough process in itself. As good as some aspects of the game are, it isn't all good.

I'm still playing it (after a fairly long hiatus), and I just reached day 255. I will admit it seems like we're doing the same thing over and over and over. It really doen't get too interesting until at least day 170+. Around that time was when I actually wantd to continue playing through. I want to beat this game before I get Birth By Sleep today.

I'd have to agree that some missions in this game feel monotonous, as well as some of the cutscenes. They sure do like eating ice cream on that clock tower, don't they? When the plot does decide to move along, I get surprised!
