So erm, I don't know if this is the right section to post this in or if I should post this or not, but anyway...
The forums I've been active on lately (Monster Hunter-related - MH is f'ing addicting, it's what's been keeping me away from FFF...) is having a GFX contest with prizes. Real prizes
The GFX sector on those forums is lacking, with only few mentionable GFX artists. I am slightly good at PS, I don't know how to make awesome sigs and avys that are awesome, but well, I'm good.
So what I need to do is an advertising banner for that site. The problem is that it needs to be 250 x 180, I'm not good with small canvases, and I've been having problems fitting text and images in it.
Thus, I ask for the help of the awesome GFX artists on FFF!
This is what I managed to do today:
The border is the border that surrounds the "Quest Cleared!" message in Monster Hunter games, I thought I'd use that because it looks quite awesome. Minegarde (the forums and the site) is a resource of Monster Hunter information, and "The world of Monster Hunter" is its motto, since, well, Minegarde is the name of the world where MH games take part in =P The font is the original game font.
The problem is that it's big. If I resize it to 250 x 180, it'll look horrible.
So I need help. ANY help and any suggestions would be appreciated. With help from FFF, I would easily win the 2nd or 3rd prize, maybe even the 1st! (Though I don't like the 1st prize >=( It's a plushie! =( I want the weapon or the monster collectible figurines, not the plushie!!!)
Again, sorry if I shouldn't have posted this.
EDIT: I also forgot to mention that the border is incompletely rendered. I'm too lazy to finish it, hence the white in there.
