Umm. First of all, smart thing to do would be to tell us your computers specs. We'll start from there. If you don't know how to get them, go to the start menu, hit run. Type in DXDIAG and let it load up, take a screenshot of the first page that shows, uplaod it and post a link here. Also, hit the display tab, take another screenshot, also uplaod somewhere and post a link.

lol what do you mean by a screen shot after opening the game the screen is pure black

and error message the error message is normal it's says NOT responding

.......take a screenshot of the DXDIAG window, not the game wacko :P

Hit the printscreen key and open MSpaint or something similar and go to edit-paste, then save it, upload it to a site like imageshack.us and post the link to both screenshots as instructed above.

umm sir where the hack the DXDIAG i can't find it

you said the start menu right and sorry for bothering

Go to the start Menu. There is a button that says "Run" hit that. A box will pop up, type DXDIAG in the box and hit enter. Then wait for the window to load up and take a screenshot of the first window like stated earlier. Then push the tab called " Display" and take a screenshot of it as well then uplaod both of those to imageshack.us and post the links here.

well thanx but there is a big huge problem because i'm from morocco and the pc language is in arabic

but you can still help if you know a patch or something that fix the graphics problems

The problem seems to be your computer is unable to run the game, period.

Otherwise, D3D would be able to render the polygons and whatnot even on a 16mb graphics card ( i know, i've done it). Basically, your computer either does not have the requirements to play the game, your video cards drivers are out of date( which you can get new ones from the manufactures website) or you need the lastest version of Direct X, which can be downloaded from Microsoft's website.

Not much else i can do.

aaa one last thing is the cards drivers hardware or software

if it software the problem is very easy

The drivers are software, BUT, you gotta made sure you have the right software to fit your hardware. You download the wrong ones, it won't be able to render much of anything, let alone let you play a game.

well thanx dude

damn i'm askin' too much do you know the right driver to play ffvii or the driver you using right now don't ask me about my hardware because i'll download it fit or not

Each video card needs a certain driver. The only way i can tell ya which ones ya need is if ya find out what video card you have. Ya can try right clicking on your desktop and choosing properties. Then go to the Settings tab, the last one on the right, and under the picture, it will say something like

Display :
Nvidia Geforce 6200 <As a example, that is my graphics card, yours will likely be different.

That is the part i need to know.

Ok, go back to where it shows that, hit the advanced button ( the one just under the rainbow of colors, the right one) and click on the Adapter tab, it's the one right next to the one your on.

After you click the adapter tab, you'll get something like this.

(again, i'l use mine as a example)
Adapter Type :
Nvidia Geforce 6200

(Then there will be a button, ignore this for now)

Adapter information:
Chip Type ~ Geforce 6200
DAC Type ~ Intergrated RAMDAC
Memory Size ~ 256mb
Bios Info ~ version 5.44. blah blah blah

Yours will be similar to this, so just type out what it shows.

Basically, your screwed up your video cards drivers. Not much else i can do about it without you somehow finding out what video card you have installed. With that VGASAVE being used, no games should work. Try looking around in google. Don't know what else to tell you.

ok and sorry for bothering

i think i'll buy windows v 95 and stop complaining

Windows XP is better though, but it costs more. At least it won't crash as often and run alot faster than 95 or 98 or 2000. It's worth the extra money to get it.
