I recently bought a 20" widescreen monitor, and have my resolution on 1680x1050 which looks great. Only problem is that on many web pages the sites aren't based on fluid (stretchy) templates. This usually results in a huge white space or the sides (which I don't mind that much) or the whole page is stuck on the left, covering about a third of the page, while everything to the right of it is just white. This is very annoying.

Does anyone know a way to make a web-page stretchy?

If there isn't a way does anyone know how to center a web-page in the middle of your browser instead of just one side (if it is fixed template)?

Cheers.

On Firefox if you click on the view tab it has the option to use 'full screen' or just click F11 while in Firefox.
