Naruto: The Bachelor~ Chapter 1
~*~ Seven Girls, all vying for Naruto’s affection. Only one will be his bride. Hinata, Ino, Moegi, Tenten, Temari, Sakura, Shizune ~*~
Morning was near, and the sun was about to come up, and yet one boy is unable to sleep. Meet Naruto Uzumaki, only yesterday he had learned that he had been chosen to be the bachelor for a TV show called, “The Bachelor”. Ever since, he cannot stop thinking about who is going to be his ‘bachelorettes’, also he has been giving much thought into how he will greet each one.
Morning has just arrived and Naruto can't take it any longer, he is now fed up with waiting and is now pounding his head on the table.
*"Can't" ...bang... "wait" ...bang...*
-knock knock knock-
Naruto stops hitting his head at the moment he hears the knocking. "Did I hear something? Was that the door?" he asks himself.
-knock knock knock-
This time he was sure he heard it. He runs to the door and slams it open in excitement.
"Kakashi-sensei, it's just you..." Naruto says out of breath and in dissapointment.
"WHAT DO YOU MEAN IT'S JUST ME!?" Kakashi asks in surprise
"I mean, you're not the person who I'm waiting for!" Naruto responds then quickly covers his mouth remembering what he had just said.
"Well then, just who are you waiting for?" Kakashi asked with a smirk on his face.
"None of your concern!" Naruto retorted.
"Well, if it's none of my concern, I'll just leave with this young lady I brought with me who asked me where your house was," Kakashi said while turning around.
Naruto in defeat, screamed, "Wait!"
"What now Naruto?" Kakashi asked with a smirk on his face.
"Well, umm..., just who is this umm... young lady?" Naruto asked.
"Well, if you want to know so badly, tell me who your waiting for." Kakashi said still with the smirk on his face.
"Ok! Ok!..." Naruto said in defeat once again then answered, "I'm actually waiting for this person who does a show, and I'm supposed to be meeting this person today..."
"Really!? Who are you supposed to meet?" Kakashi said, acting surprised.
"Yeah, really, and I already told you who I'm supposed to meet!" Naruto said in wonder if Kakashi was really listening at that point.
"Oh, right, I remember now." Kakashi said pretending to remember what Naruto said earlier.
"Ok, now that I've told you who I'm waiting for, can I now meet this lady?" Naruto asks.
"Yeah, ok, fine..." Kakashi said then yelled, "Hey, Leila! Come here!"
"Yeah Kakashi?" Leila asks running towards them carrying a bowl of ramen with her.
"Naruto wanted to meet you" Kakashi said while looking at the bowl of ramen in her hands figuring it was for Naruto since he hadn't eaten yet.
"Oh..." Leila said, then turned to Naruto and said, " Well, hi Naruto! I'm Leila! Oh, and I got a bowl of ramen for you." Leila smiles while handing the bowl of ramen to Naruto, then asks, "Umm... may we come in now?"
Naruto stands there blankly for a moment and then realizes she just asked to come in. "OH, oh. Yeah, you guys can come in."
Kakashi and Leila then enter Naruto's house. Naruto still standing at the door in confusion asks, "Umm... why are you here again?"
"Oh, I haven't said why yet. Why don't you come in and sit down so I can explain." Leila responds.
"Umm... Ok." Naruto said while coming in to sit down with Kakashi and Leila.
"Ok, now that we're all settled, I'll explain why I'm here," Leila started, " I am here because, I am the host for the show, "The Bachelor".
"OH MY GOD!" Naruto interuppted, "You're that person who I was waiting for!, and your the host!"
"Yeah... I just said that..." Leila said bluntly, then continued, " Anyways, as I just said, I am going to be the host of the show, "The Bachelor". I will be here to introduce the bachelorettes of the show and once all the bachelorettes have been introduced, I will then explain more." Leila stood up and then walked towards the door.
"Umm..., What!?" Naruto said in confusion, while standing up.
"Naruto, she sasid she's here to introduce the bachelorettes/ladies to you, and once all of them have been introduced she said she will explain more." Kakashi explained.
Naruto stood there for a moment to contemplate what both Leila and Kakashi had explained,"Oh..." he said after figuring it out.
"The first bacherlorette should be here any minute now, oh, I forgot to tell you Naruto, Kakashi is helping me out during this show, since it's my first time hosting a show, right Kakashi?"
"Yeah..." Kakashi said in defeat, then notices Naruto creeping up behind him and asks, "Naruto, what are you doing?"
"Umm..., n...n...othing," Naruto says, trying to act innocent.
"Ri...ght" Kakashi says still suspicious of Naruto, then turns back to Leila and asks, "The bachelorette should be here any minute now, right?"
"Yeah, she should be," Leila answered. Then went to go sit back down.
"Hey, Kakashi-sensei," Naruto whispered sitting back down next to him.
"What?" Kakashi asked.
"Well, umm... nevermind," Naruto said after noticing Leila glaring at him.
Leila looks away from Naruto then says, "Ok, when the first bachelorette arrives, you are to greet her with the upmost respect, as well with the other six."
"Yes, maam," Naruto replies in a sad sort of way.
Leila ignores him and continues saying, "Kakashi, your job is to come and check in on them every so often, ok?"
"Yeah, ok...," Kakashi answers not really listening to what she was saying.
"Kakashi, were you even listening?" Leila asks wondering if he was.
"No..." Kakashi answers.
Leila now furious, gets up and heads towards the kitchen. Meanwhile, Kakashi now clueless why she is so mad, decides to ask Naruto.
"Hey Naruto," Kakashi said.
"Yeah?" Naruto asked.
"Umm... Why is she mad?" Kakashi asked.
Naruto then falls from his seat right after Kakashi finished asking his question. Naruto then gets back up then answers, "Well, you did ignore her when she was telling you something."
"I did!?" Kakashi asked, surprised.
"Yeah, you did" Naruto said bluntly.
"Great! Now this is just GREAT!" Kakashi says sarcastically.
"What is?" Naruto asked confused, not picking up the sarcasm.
"WHAT IS?", Kakashi started with sarcasm still in his voice, then continued and said, "It's that I ignored her, and now she's mad at me and probably won't talk to me anymore!"
"But that's not great...," Naruto said in confusion still not picking up the sarcasm.
Kakashi dumbfounded by Naruto's words, stares at him with a, 'you are so stupid' look on his face.
"Oh, Kakashi...!" Leila said mishieviously coming out of the kitchen holding a pitcher of water.
"Umm...., yeah?" he akes looking over to her and thinking, 'Yes!, she's talking to me!'
"Are you thirsty?" she asks with a smirk on her face
Kakashi obviously not picking this up answers, "Yeah, I kinda am thirsty."
Leila now with a huge grin on her face says, "Ok, Kakashi, here you go then," she then poured the whole pitcher of water over Kakashi's head.
Kakashi obviously now soaked, retorts, "Why'd you do that for!?" then he thinks for a minute then says, "Wait.... I know, nevermind... I deserved that,"
"Yeah you did! You ignored me!" Leila said retorting back.
*silence*
"Umm.... are you still mad at me? I'm sorry for ignoring you," Kakashi said, breaking the silence.
-knock knock knock-
Leila who now ignores Kakashi on purpose, changes the subject to the knock on the door, "Hey! I think our first bachelorrete is here!" she says, setting down the pitcher and heads for the door.
