Okay ive been wondering, is Namine Kairi's nobody? Cause i was playing CoM, and Sora said that Namine used to live on the island. But that would have meant that, technically the nobodies were around even before the heartless. Am i correct in assuming this?
 
Yes, and no.yes, because she was the being that was created when kairi heart left sora's body.no, because of the same thing, SORA'S body.she, like roxas, is a special case with nobodies.I am leaning more towards yes, but we have yet to officially find out
 
precisely. Roxas and namine were created after sora used the dark keyblade to open his heart to heal kairi(KH1).they are special cases because they have emotions, something nobodies can only make up, synthesize. it is a truly complicated scenario
 
Oh now everything is starting to make sense, maybe they had emotions and what not b/c even when Sora got turned into a hearltess he still maintained his emotions, Sora is just god-like.
 
sora has a strong heart, which is required for a nobody to exist. they must have a strong heart in order to become one.The original becomes a heartless or lesser nobody in some cases, whereas they reappear as someone totally different in nobody form
 
they are all nobodies. they all had past lives, lost their hearts, and became nobodies, the very first, i belive. Xemnas, vexen, zexion and lexaues(srry for spelling) were the first nobodies, having been apprentinces to ansem the wise. They started to dawdle in darkness and became heartless, while because they had strong hearts, they became the core of organization XIII.
 
Wow, are you like an expert in KH? :offtopic: sorry..... but anyways- if ansem dawdled in the darkness as well how come he didnt become a nobody? Cause obviously he had a strong heart
 
he chose to be a heartless on his own free will.besides, xemnas is his nobody. ansem's real name was xehanort. he was masquerading as his old teacher for personal reasons. xehanort became the heartless, while xemnas became the nobody and established the organization. ansem the wise was the teacher and "ansem" who is really xehanort was the one who willingly became a heartless

Kairi did indeed lose her heart, but she did not become an heartless because her heart contains no darkness( due to her princess of heart status) but she did indeed lose her heart, and the fact that she is female does prove that namine is kairi's nobody.
 
As for That whole thing with the Island, Namine was messing around with sora's memories to try to get him to forget Kairi, the only one keeping him from forgetting everything.
 
Namine is Kairi's Nobody, it was written somewhere. It's also pretty obvious because at the end
Roxas merges with Sora, his 'Somebody' and Kairi merges with Namine
. Namine has no 'x' in her name because she's not apart of Org. XIII, but her name has a clear connection to Kairi's.

When Kairi gave Sora her heart, she lost her heart. Well, didn't lose it exactly (it was with Sora) - she essentially became heartless. Not a Heartless, but she had no heart, so she was heartless.
I'm not sure when Namine was created. I'd imagine at the same time as Roxas, but I'm not sure. It was either -

* When Sora impaled himself with the dark Keyblade or whatever that was, releasing Kairi's heart and his own.
* When Kairi gave Sora her heart, which I believe was when she passed through him at the start of KH1.

Namine is undoubtedly Kairi's Nobody, it's been confirmed and is obvious through canon facts. >_>

my reason for no,

That was not a true memory, Namine actually erased Kairi form Sora's mind and replaced Kairi with herself. And also she does not posses the traits other nobodies have (ex, X in their name and rearranged letters)

I cant really say a reason for her actually being Kairi's nobody, The only proof i actually witnessed was when Namine disappeared into Kairi's body. And also the fact Kairi lost her heart

I think that Namine is Kairi's nobody, because Kari DID lose her heart at the beginning of KH altogether. Doesn't matter if it became a heartless or not, she did lose her heart, and that's what creates a nobody, the shell of that who has no heart.

What interests me is that Namine has the power to alter memories. I think it's due to the fact that Kairi was a princess of heart, but if it wasn't that, then it makes you wonder: Does Kairi have a similar power?

I wonder this because Roxas has Sora's powers to wield the keyblade, as he Sora's nobody. So, since that's the case, i wonder if Kairi has the ability to affect people's memories as well. If so, then Kairi may pop up more in future KH series.
