Finally, after searching and searching, I have found a lightsnake. A lightsnake is a cord that attaches from an amplifier to the USB port on a computer, allowing me to play and record guitar at the same time. This technology is still taking some time to get used to, so my first recording are going to be a bit rough.

I am a finger-picker, which means that I do not use picks but rather all of my fingers. This allows me to strum a bass line, the melody, and sometimes a harmony. Most of the songs that I will play involve a bass line and a melody, so I won't be doing riffs or scales unless the song calls for it.

For my first piece, I have played the Balamb City Theme from FFVIII. I figured it would be appropriate for here, and I hope you enjoy. The only way I've found to let you all hear is to upload the file as an mp3, and then you download it and play on itunes or something. If you have a better method, let me know.

This is one of the first songs I started learning, and I may be getting close to having it all the way down.

"It Had To Be You": an old classic song from the 1940s - 1950s. Chances are most of you have not heard this, but your grandparents may have..
