Hello, it's pretty obvious I'm new to this forum. I've had quite a funny story with this place (I think!).
Well, I'll start with the basics. I'm 16 years old girl from Canada. My sister, who is now 30, used to play the ff games when she was about my age. Naturally, being the little sister I am, watched her play videogames all the time (I'm sure some of you have done the same!), until the day I could hold a controller (3-4 years old?). I've loved the FF games ever since then. FF4 and FF6 being a great part of my childhood, I used to steal FF6 from my sister (she loved it that much, wouldn't let me touch it!) so I could play it. It's funny thinking back on all this. She once hid it so well, we had lost it!
Anyhow, I'm a big fan.
About 6 years ago, I got my first computer (yes, 10 years old. I was a spoiled child haha). Being the child I was, I would search for videogame related things on the internet (I liked fanart a lot). I think (if it existed back then) I came across this forum back then. I'm sure it was this one. I was happy, but didn't know how to join. There was this fanfic that someone was writing... I think! Maybe it was not here, but who knows. I read it a lot. It was really long (or seemed to be back then, for a 10 year old). Was something along the lines of University of Final Fantasy. I've lost track of it since then though. Haven't visited this place in years!
Well, either way, maybe I'm just crazy haha. I was recently thinking of joining a new forum to be able to meet new people. I've been googling "friendly general forum" and whatnot, but it hasn't been working. Then I remembered this place, and voila!
Well, either way, I'm hoping to make new friends and have interesting discussions with all of you. I just babbled on and on in this first post, but oh well! I hope that isn't against the rules.
