My character(S)

Name: Lucas Trent
Age:20 (age could differ depeneding on rp.)
Time spent as Courier: Little over two days.
Courier rank: A
Power: The elements (you know Earth, Wind, Fire that stuff, oh yeah and the band rocks XD)
Homeworld: Gaia
Hometown: Iskander
Date of Birth: June 11
Appearance: http://www.k-manga.net/pic/project/3_small_2.jpg (But his skin is brown)

Weapon:

Nimbus wielded a beautiful Obsidian spear, it was a glorious shining ebony.
The tip was sharply crafted, it looked as if it could cut through even the hardest diamond without problem. At the very bottom is a fiery red orb that gleams brilliantly even in the darkest of nights.
To whomever wielding the weapon a sense of legend falls upon them.

Before Nimbus passed he gave Lucas his spear, it was almost as if he knew something like this would happen.

The weapon holds a dormant power that not even Nimbus knew of, the weapon can absorb the essence from other jewels. Take an emerald for example, within the emerald lies the power of a raging storm of thunder and lightning. Or perhaps the jewel is a Ruby, the weapon could pull a fury of dancing crimson flames. Yet ultimately the complete power of the weapon depends on the user, if the user is weak then only a spark of flame would ignite from the weapon, but if he is strong then an entire forest could burn down with just the word.

The spear is also capable of transforming it’s shape into that of two or one long swords.
This allows the user to pull off some new and somewhat flashy combos.

But if Lucas is able to perform these amazing skills or not has yet to be confirmed.

Personality:

A goof-ball at heart Lucas appeared to have all the answers, but in fact he just makes most things he doesn’t know up. Lucas has an extensive knowledge of the world and it’s waters, he has been studying them since he was young, he’s always held a interest in the Courier’s life, normal for Nimbus’ brother after all.

Lucas can come off as a sort of hot head, he tends to get fired up over the smallest things.
There was one time in Kindergarten where some kid said his drawings sucked, Lucas lashed out in a fury that resulted in him becoming the first Kindergarten student at his school to get suspended.
That brings me to another trait of Lucas, his sense of creativity, he loves create things.
Coming up with a graphic for his brother’s ship’s side was one of his brightest moments art-wise.

Lucas tends to get sidetracked over things easily, he could be doing something as important as a school final and get sidetracked over a beautiful woman passing by. He’s called by some as a ‘Proud Failure’
for his proud attitude and tendency to fail at things.

Expertise: Lock Picking, Steering a ship, Graphics, Navigation and swordsmanship.

Skills:

Trickster-Lucas’ spear transforms into two long swords allowing him to perform ‘Skull and Crossbones’

Skull and Crossbones-The essence infused within the swords are released as Lucas initiates a combo of lightning quick and ferocious sword attacks. In the end the blades turn back into the spear and a powerful beam of flame is unleashed.

Manic- The style consist of high speed unpredictable attacks on the opponent, the whole style is very laid back and Lucas usually seems to be messing around. He can pretend to be walking away, sleeping, or just being idle. The attacks are very powerful and even the best Martial Arts master would have difficulty dealing with the unpredictability of the whole fighting style.

Grasshopper- Lucas’ figure begins to multiply as he starts to hop wildly around the opponent.
This causes the enemy to slip into a confused state, once this phase is over Lucas unleashes a number of quick thrusts upon the enemy.

Stock-Break- A non-elemental attack that consists of the spear transforming into a blade and Lucas delivering one powerful armor shattering blow. This skill leaves Lucas and the Spear’s essence jewel drained. This move is only to be used when needed.

Arrogant Spark- Harnessing the power of flame his body itself is engulfed in flames, this is a state of berserk where flame and all attacks are amplified by insane amounts, but the risk is that this could lead to serious injury or death.

Light Speed- Much like the Arrogant Spark technique this move turns Lucas into a form where he is only seen by the human eye as a glow of flashing purple blue and white light. While in this state Lucas is able to move at breakneck speeds, almost as if he’s traveling at the speed of light itself. When this effect wears off it leaves the boy’s movements to be extremely slow making him all but useless for the rest of the battle.

Earth Shaker- Lucas brings a wall of earth up to shield the entire team from a enemys attacks,

Summon Bro- Deep within the spear’s jewel lies the essence of Nimbus. Nimbus’ ‘ghost’ enters Lucas’ body and unleashes the true power of the spear transforming Lucas into an angel winged beast.
While in this state the boy is equipped with complete control of the elements around him. He can bend the fire at his will or create a shower of thunder with the flick of a wrist. The only time Lucas has used this skill was battling the first dragon- after using this he was out for a week straight.

Bio: (somewhat shortened I suppose)
The courier, a person who has sworn an oath to their employee to see that their package gets delivered safely. Think of them as a pirate for hire if you will. They travel from place to place, by land or by sea
To get their jobs done. One will not stop midway to deliver their item that is the most important rule in the code of a Courier. There was one man who lived and breathed these rules, he was the best out there. His name? None other than Nimbus Trent, the seas quivered with the very mention of his name.
Nimbus and his crew traveled the world for ten long years, during that time they delivered so many packages, accumulated so much money and fame, came down with so many rare sicknesses, that almost every other Courier was out of a job. You either loved him or hated him, that’s just how it was with Nimbus.

One day while in Port Rosa Nimbus’ crew was given a job. The biggest one any of them had ever seen, the sum 10,000,000 smackers. All they had to do was deliver this wine called Dragonheart to a mansion in the town Ipsen. Dragonheart was a fine wine, and the bottle was well aged to boot, but for that much money? The entire crew was uneasy about this delivery, but this was too much money to turn down . . . no matter how risky the delivery would be. The other odd thing about this delivery was that it was under no name, the Courier’s guild in Rosa only said where it was due.

None the less, the crew and a confident Nimbus set out the next day for Ipsen port. Nobody would guess that this would be Nimbus’ last job . . .

Ipsen, a remote island smack in the middle of our world. Terrible stories were told of this place, stories about beasts lurking in the thick fog waiting to rip a ship and its crew to shreds.A weary feeling fell over the ships crew. Soon the whole lot was asleep, passed out where they once stood wide awake. Nobody from the crew remembers what happened during that time period, only that their beloved captain was gone when they awoke. The only thing left was a bloodstained sack with the payment inside.

They searched and searched the surrounding area for him, but there was no sign of him.
A weak later the crew mournfully set back for Iskander, Nimbus’ home.

It had only been a week since he had been pronounced dead by his crew mates, but the skies already seemed darker.

Happy Birthday!

Yeah, some birthday, on the day of your birth your brother is announced dead.

Nimbus was a hero to the village, he was the pride of his family. Everyone knew of him, Even if you didn’t like him, you’d here more of him than you really wanted to.

Lucas was always the ‘other brother’, nobody really put forth an effort to listen to him. You see although he loved Nimbus greatly he always wanted to succeed him, he wanted to be a better Courier than him, so he wouldn’t be the ‘other brother’ anymore. So he trained, he grew stronger, he even started to read more of the world. Eventually he knew the world and it’s geography as if he had been around it twice. He possibly knew more of the world than even Nimbus! But we would never find that out would we?

Still no matter how much he improved he would still be ‘the other brother’. It wouldn’t change...
It wouldn’t...

And so the day of the thirteenth birthday came, this is what every kid would wait for, yet it seemed highly underwhelming. Nothing new, nothing ground breaking... just a one and a three atop a birthday cake.

But when the night seemed over a ship pulled in...Nimbus’ ship. When the entire village came to greet them the entire crew came of with an ill-spirit about them. Lucas who was in front of the crowed looked around the crew to find Nimbus...but he wasn’t there.

One of the crew spoke, about the Dragonheart, about Ipsen, and about...his brother’s death.

Ever since that day the skies have seemed darker, the villagers walked with a slump, his parents were always weeping.

No longer was Lucas the ‘other brother’, he was the only brother...

Lucas, he couldn’t let this be the end of his brother’s ambition. Somebody had to step up to fill Nimbus Trent’s shoes as the greatest Courier one day, and who would be better for that spot than his little brother? By this time the next year Lucas was set, all he needed was a crew. Some of the old crew members could be found at Port Rosa...but would any of them want to join him? That was yet to be determined.

The boy left the night of November 9, the day of his seventeenth birthday. His brother’s ship Ragenork was at the port at the bottom of the mountains. With his brother’s spear in hand and a pack full of supplies the boy set down the long winding path to the bottom of Mt. Iskander.

The mountain side was illuminated by candles along the side of the path, as long as he could remember he never saw the candles burn out. Old folklore says that if the mountains ever bright lights go out the children of Iskander are doomed. He prayed that story wasn’t true as he continued down the path.

The first steps of a long journey were now behind him. A sense of awe was upon him as he climbed onto the giant ship. The mountain seemed angry, gusting winds whipped him on the face. For a moment he stood at the edge of the deck to look at the waters. It was time- time to leave the shelter of home and time to walk the path of the Courier...

Exactly two weeks late the Ragenork appeared into Port Rosa. A tired Lucas leaned over the deck.
Its difficult to steer a ship on your own, extremely.

A crowd gathered at the docks to see the ship. Everyone knew it’s sight well, Why this is Nimbus’ ship! They would say. Pushing to the front of the crowd was a brown haired girl, her green and brown eyes stared out to see the captain of the ship- was it really him? Was he really alive?!
When Lucas came down the rope onto the port his eyes widened at the sight. ‘’Who are you people?’‘
He spoke with a clueless expression. Now Lucas looked almost exactly like Nimbus, so you could tell how this would lead to the cheering and shouting of ‘NIMBUS LIVES!’ that came from the crowd.
This made the boy laugh a bit, but the laughter soon faded as he looked upon the green and brown eyed girl in front of him.

He’s dead, is what Lucas said next. The entire town seemed to silence after.

Lucas told them his own story and the crowd listened intently. They all were impressed of how one child could sail a ship like Ragenork on his own- truly his is Nimbus’ brother they thought. When he asked of Nimbus’ former crew’s whereabouts the girl in front of the crowd pointed to a tavern at end of the docks. She insisted on following Lucas who had no choice but to agree.

CRASH!

A bottle of rum just missed him.

“HEY! WHAT WAS THAT-“

A gray haired chubby man ran out after the bottle but stopped seeing Lucas.
“Nimbus?” He spoke slowly walking up to him. Lucas only smiled.”No, it’s his brother.
Good to see you again though, umm...savvy?” Lucas spoke unsure. The man laughed at the boy attempting to speak pirate. This man was Nimbus’ first mate, his name was Doug. The man would laugh and lead the boy and girl into the Tavern.

“Everyone, You remember Lucas right? Well he’s starting out on bein a Courier and thinks he needs our help? Ain’t that rich? He’s got Nimbus’ blood in em’ and he needs us?” Laughter filled the room.
Lucas sighed.

“Well if you all ain’t up for the job guess I’ll go find some other A ranked Courier’s for my crew, besides they’re probably better than you guys anyway.” The girl’s eyes widened at Lucas’ words.
The entire room grew silent. Lucas sighed and walked out, The green eyed girl pouted and ran after him.”What are you thinking?” She finally said, Lucas looked surprised for a moment then laughed.
“The way you never said a word I thought you were mute- No offense.” He said scratching his head.

From the tavern stumbled Doug again this time his face looked beat red.”Okay Trent, I was nice to ye before but after that me and the boys think you don’t know who we are exactly.” Lucas threw on a serious face but on the inside he was laughing.

“If ye think we’re not good enough why don’t you see for ye self? The crew of the Ragenork will show ye what being a Courier be all about!” From the tavern stepped at least ten more men all looked equally ugly and tough. Lucas would laugh at the man’s outburst.”Well then, We’ll have to see eh?”

And just like that a crew was made. Under the crew name ‘Nimbus’ they traveled. The girl with the green eyes joined too. Turns out her name was Jayx, she has power over the light. She says the power causes her pain that she wanted to talk to Nimbus about. When she told him this she had already been traveling with the group, Lucas had asked her to be a permanent part of the crew, almost instantly she tackled him and said ‘Yes!’. Lucas promised to help her with her powers over the trip. Jayx was an orphan, she said her entire island was destroyed in a single night, there was a part of Lucas that constantly thought about this and who harnessed such power.

Four years had passed since then, the waters were growing smaller with magic becoming something used by all. They say that the age of the Courier was over. But still there was a group out there taking the world by storm, their name? ‘Nimbus’. Led by the brother of Nimbus, the group is gaining popularity in an amazing amount of time. Lucas himself has risen from a D rank all the way to A rank in such a small amount of time.

Popularity was amazing we became a household name within two years, after that the deliveries came slower than usual still it was great sailing the seas. But still. This was not my reason for becoming a Courier. I’ve traveled for five years and all I have gained is false popularity. I set out to avenge my brother, to find his killer. I hated this man yet I didn’t even know him, I wanted to kill him, I wanted to murder him like he murdered my brother. Is it wrong to feel this way?

It appeared that Dragonheart would never show itself again, but then the morning of October 24th came. It was about 3:00 a.m when another ship sailed towards them. The only ones awake were Lucas and Jayx. Lucas never slept, he always stood in front of the wheel looking out to sea. Jayx was normally the first one to sleep but today she was on a sugar over load, zooming around the ship at unimaginable speeds. Lucas was just about to nod off when giant horn blew nearly making him fall of deck. The owner of the horn was a Government ship, you could tell simply by the crews thick jackets and the emblem on their flag.

It was funny really, just when I began to give up hope of finding the Dragonheart, a fat Government man brings me it all wrapped up nicely. Looks like the man from before needs a new supply, and he wants me to deliver it. Heh, I’ll deliver it alright.

Dragonheart....Ipsen....Me...Jayx....the crew...and Nimbus...

Dragonheart...

Dragonheart

That same day the ship hulled anchor for Ipsen. The fog was just as thick as it was that day.
Lucas’ mind was filled with thoughts of the ship being destroyed. Jayx was running around the ship looking worried she yelled something about the waters being mad at them, and then Lucas’ eyes widened. But it was to late, there was simply no time to do anything...
They had been attacked by a Kraken. Their ship was
There were no screams, there were no shouts. There was only misery...

And then...nothing...

It seemed like days before they awoke, but truly it was only a matter of hours. None of them could remember what happened. Only one thing was true certain, once again their captain was missing...and so was Jayx. The crew members could barely move. The Kraken, it must have intoxicated them somehow.

Ipsen, The Devils Isle. This is where it all started. The jewel on my spear was wigging out, so was the dragonheart. The wine, it was warm and felt like something was beating inside it. I thought it was just my mind at the time but...

It was unkown to him where he was now, all he could tell was that he was far from the shore, perhaps to far. Regardless he wouldn't stop, it was clear now. The sheer taint of darkness was near...and yet, another force.
It's path somewhat undecided. In an hours time he could feel a distinct presence in the area. Right in the middle of town where a four way cross roads lie.

"Umm Mr. uhh guy, Delivery! I have your Wine here...." Lucas gulped as he held up the blood red bottle of wine. There was no answer, only a silence as quiet as death. And then there came another voice. “Lucas?! Is that you? It really is you!” This voice was one that Lucas knew too well but he died.
He died so long ago...but. Nimbus came running from the northern most crossroads to hug his brother.
“Why are you here? Ahh that doesn’t matter...Lucas, you’re a sight for sore eyes brother.” When Nimbus hugged him Lucas’ eyes had something in them, no not the joy you would expect...something dark.

FROM HERE ON DOWN WILL CHANGE
There was something about Nimbus. No this wasn’t him, at least I didn’t think at the time. So when he hugged me, I stabbed him...with his own spear. I thought I only killed my brother’s imposter. But...
when I stabbed him, he looked at me, his golden eyes burned into mine with a look that said ‘why?’.
Nimbus it really was you. I killed my brother! The worst thing was that Jayx saw it, when I looked in her eyes there was this look of horror. That moment I hated my self, I wanted to kill myself...
I wanted to end this life, so I took my spear and rose it to my chest. As I did she stopped me.
And then...I wasn’t sure what it was but I kissed her, to this day I’m not sure what made me do it.
For that moment it felt like time stopped, and it all made sense, Jayx I...

As the two stood their in each other’s arms there was a loud scream. It came from the shore where the crew was washed up. Lucas was aware of this and suddenly ran off. Jayx was left looking somewhat surprised and confused, though the other part of her was happy and felt like she was floating.
But back to Lucas.

On the shore stood a man, he kicked Doug’s body around with a great laugh. The rest of the crew lie on the sand dead, their blood spilled on the ground. Seeing this sent Lucas over the edge.
“You....why?!” Lucas pounced at the man and once on the ground he rapidly pounded at his face, each fist landed sending a shockwave through the sand. Blinded by his rage Lucas didn’t realize that all he was hitting was sand. Behind him stood the man, long blood soaked fangs reached from his mouth.
The man would grin a deranged grin, following his laugh he would speak.

“I see, so you’re the new delivery boy? Hmm, a bit smaller than I expected but as long as you have my Dragonheart nothing’s wrong. But I do believe you look a lot like Nimbus...haha what a laugh. That man was a fool, he allowed himself to be a puppet as long as I didn’t harm you. He became my delivery boy, but you have ended that huh? Well like I said as long as you give me the Dragonheart nothings wrong.” As he opened his mouth to speak again a dagger flew past his head, behind him stood Jayx.

Rich crimson blood fell from his cheek. “Now you have made me mad....” Two black wings bursted from his back, a blood lusting roar came from the man. “You’re going to die girl!” His body appeared right behind Jayx, with his arm he grabbed her throat and began choking her. “Your death will be swift...”

The anger this man brought to me was unbearable , the pain I felt just looking at him it was unreal.
Now, now that he’s done this, I was filled with rage. A scream was the last thing I could remember.
Everything else was a blur...

A blue light emited from the spear, then a roar of a dragon escaped from the jewel.
Finally the spear's jewel shattered, unleashing a blinding blue light. From the light formed a figure-- Nimbus, the ghostly image phased into Lucas. Power surged through his veins, transparent sparkling blue angel wings bursted from the man's back. Malakai (the vampire guy) dropped Jayx and smirked. "And so the brother of Nimbus finally awakens. Hohoho...this boy has stirred up my other side.."

From as if out of nowhere Malakai revealed a regular katana. His eyes landed on the beast infront of him, on his face Malakai had a look that said 'bring it on'.

Fight.

On all fours Lucas charged at this monster, when in distance he struck clawing at the man's face. Sharp claws tore into his flesh, it seemed like the battle was over right there but then...

"Fool." Malakai appeared behind Lucas forming a sphere of green flame. You could feel the intensity of the fire, the heat was almost to much for even Malakai. A smirk crossed his face as he hurled the firey mass into Lucas, the scolding heat tore him to shreds and burned all his skin. Laying there on the ground another transformation took place upon Lucas. Atop his destroyed skin grew brown fur, his eyes turned into an intense gold. Under the first set of wings grew another set, these were full grown angel wings.

(still more bio to come, I got a major case of writers block now.)
Comments and stuff welcome.

Ok I have a feeling you go on Final Fantasy Insider if I'm not mistaken. I don't see why people make these. Why not use a different character for each rpg?

Ya I'm on FFI. But I do use different characters for RPs, if you use the same one all the time it get's boring.I'll probably add some other characters up later, right now this is my most developed character. But the fact that some choose to stay with one character and develop them is so that character can be more powerful for RP Battles.
