Here's some of my art :3
I'm looking for critique, as I want to improve, so please help out!
<3

I don't draw people often, so apologies for suckishness.

This is just a quick sketch of Lightning I did during English class. I know she doesn't have an eyebrow piercing, but I like to give her one on occasion, I think it adds to her badassery.

This is Reaver of Fable III, unfinished as of yet.

haha ok thats better I can see now, I really like the top one, you draw eyes really well!!

the second one looks good but the face shape is a little off or too thin or something, I am not really sure on how to help you fix it coz I am not a great drawer but maybe plump it out a bit or make it less rigid (I guess that character does have a thin face anyway :) )

Thank you ^.^

I just learned how to draw eyes recently xD
I usually draw horses, which is why my people turn out odd.

Yeah, Reaver's facial structure is pretty bony, but I see what you mean. I made him look like a caricature, and I didn't mean too D:

Thanks again <3

I like the style. It's very clearly delineated. How good are you at shading? I think if you could pull it off, having this shaded would add to the tangibility of the face as a whole. I like what you've done to the lips there, as the texture is quite detailed. Props. The simplicity of the features like the nose and the eyes adds to the style as well. Very nice.

The hair is nicely done, though admittedly not the hair I envision Lightning with. D:

The eyes and the furrowed bridge of the nose do feel a bit masculine though based on experience and observation. I don't know exactly what makes it that way but I just have that feeling. Maybe it's the eyebrows and how angular they are. Maybe it's just the furrows (but I know you're going for that badass feeling). Interesting. :hmmm:

Otherwise it's really well done. It's almost like an Amano if I had to compare it to someone's.

Again, I like your style. It's very detailed yet very caricaturish as well. The light shading really brings out the three-dimensionality of the Reaver and to that I applaud you. Very well done.

This isn't something I normally see with sketches like this, but there's personality in his smirk. It's not lifeless or devoid of character. Awesome stuff you've got here.

Can't wait to see more. :awesome:

Thank you! <3
Shading is not, admittedly my strong point ^^;
This is very delicately shaded irl, but the photo was taken on an iPhone camera, which swallowed all the details into an abyss of bad quality.
Thanks again :3
I keep noses simple because I can't draw them xD And I can never draw eyes even, which is why my eyes sometimes look a little... weird.
I agree though, I do like it being more simplistic.

Thank you :D
Personally, I dislike the hair. Hair is another thing I struggle with. I just threw some strands across Light's face in the hope it'd add a little substance, rather than keeping just the facial features floating in nothingness.

Angular eyebrows are a bad habit of mine xD I use them to make faces look more emotional, but they do make everyone slightly manly. As for the furrowing, I think if I'd used fewer lines and made it a cute "wrinkle", then I could remove the masculinity of it, but that's just a suggestion.

COMPARING ME TO AMANO.
YOU FLATTERER, YOU.
*Endless blushes*

Thank you ^.^
I worked for a long time to make his face "pop", so I'm glad it paid off!

Thank you :D I tried hard to give him that characteristic sneer, as I didn't want him just to look like a pissed pretty boy, I wanted people to KNOW he was Reaver.

Thanks again for the kind words and critique!
