I thought it was sad, but that's because I haven't played all the other final fantasies out there, so I can't really say honestly that this has the saddest ending.
I felt that this was definately the saddest ending i've experienced to any FF. This game was the reason I bought a PS in the 1st place and it just blew me out of the water. I was 23 when I played this and I almost had a tear in my eye! What a beauty!
they should have jsut had the ending where tidus swims out of the water at besaid and yuna lands her ship on the beach and meets him there and they hug blah blah as an optional ending for X cause X-2 the gmae was pointless.
It was a pretty emotional ending..but not THE most emotional, the ending of FFVII i found was very emotional (the game and AC) but the winner of the award is FFIX, the whole deal with Zidane Garnet and Vivi beats Tidus and Yuna.
It has got a pretty emotional ending, yes, but I haven't played all the FF games so I can't really say...it's the most emotional ending I have seen so far from an FF game though
FFX, I remember when I FIRST beat the game, I never payed attention to the game. It was the first FF I ever played, and I was kinda shocked because I never played an RPG before it. Well, I beat it once again to try and understand it because my cousin said it was a really good game. when I beat it for the second time I bawled. I was so taken away with the story of the game. It was a beautiful story and I didnt believe a game could make me feel that way. Much like I felt with what happens to Aeris in FF7, since she was my favorite character besides Cloud. Anyways, I fell so in love with the ending I literally beat it around 5 times in a row which took about an hour each time due to the aeons and jecht and all that. Anyways, mmost definately the saddest ending. Blew me away.
It was a really sad ending to me it made me cry to see that Tidus had to leave and was not able to show Zanarkand(The one he came from of course).I think I remember crying for about 30 mins after I had beat it they need to make a movie out of this like FFVII.
