Who has gotten sad like me and really got emotional on something from FF. I have to say that when i first bought it all those years ago, when Aeris died, i cried my eyes out!
And then when i carried on you see her image flash up when you enter the church back in Midgar, it set me off again. I never cried on another FF after that.

why is this in FFXII? shouldnt it be in general discussion o_0

but w/e the most emotion ive ever felt at FF is indeed in FFVII - Aeris' death to be specific - it was just so shad

But in contrast to that i was so happy at the end of FFVI when Celes and Locke had there romantic moment ^_^ and they were shown together in the credits ^_^ so sweet!

Old school FFs pwn.

Oops my bad!

I just wacked a new thread without thinking Lol Was just thinking when Fran returned to her village, the woods were jealous that she had gone with the humes and missed her :(

Argh, i never completed FF6, glad it turned out for Celes :) she was ace!

It's okay ^_^ I moved the thread for you! Great thread btw ;)

The most emotion I've ever had while playing an FF game was in FFVII when Aerith died. I cried when it happened because it wasn't something I was expecting. I continued on playing through and hoping like crazy she could be ressurrected but nope :( I was very saddened by that. Seeing her face at the end too when she saved the world kinda got me choked up.

In FFX, after Tidus fights his father and he starts to cry, that got me a little choked up as well. The end of FFX on the airship made me cry and Yuna's speech at the very end also got me pretty choked up as well.

In Kingdom Hearts, the very ending of that game got me a bit teared up when Sora and Kairi were clinging onto each other's hands. Also when Riku stayed behind the door of darkness I got choked up there too. Those are the only games that ever really made me emotional.

The most emotional moment was when the team from FF10 are in Home and they find out that revelation about Yuna and the Aeons. that was really heart-wrenching.

The music was perfect and the voice acting was just superb

I heard that Aeris was supposed to come back originally but was left out in the main story for some reason. Which is why you can't get all her limit breaks, is that true do you know?

Yeah the music really helped the ending too in KH, i luvved it!!

Ps - Thanks for that :)

FFXII also choked me up a bit - when Fran told her sister that she must forget about her

Poor fran

edit - actually you CAN get all of Aeriths limit breaks - without cheating - ive done it - her 4th limit break practically makes her a goddess - invincibility and fully restroes HP and MP ^_^

Uhm....... you can get all of her limit breaks....

and yeah she was originally meant to be revived (which involved the ghost in the slum church and the man in the pipe in the slums).

But they ran out of time with developing the game, so they had to leave it as she died.

Onlt time for me really. Can't say it was really emotional, but I sympathized with teh characters ther at the end, between Jecht and Tidus, when Auron got sent, and when Tidus...faded off.

I remember having a huge sense of elation at the ending to FFVIII, especially coming after such a great final battle. I'd been told before by my brother that the ending to FFVIII was great and I wasn't disappointed. And the bit where the credits start to roll and the camcorder scene starts up left me with immense satisfaction.

Oh! That's another one...omg Tidus's reaction to that, it really was heart-wrenching. I was just...I got so teared up at that part too. And you know another part that got me? The Spring Scene. When Yuna started crying, I could only begin to imagine everything she was feeling and how hard it all was for her. Knowing what her fate was going to be, knowing that she was in love with Tidus and there was nothing she could do about it, because of the fate that awaited her...yeah, that got me too. I'm such a romantic xD

I think the scene with Aerith though, it was Cloud's reaction that got to me the most. The poor little block guy just looked broken and it was really sad and dramatic. Especially when he laid her to rest.

Ahh the Spring scene was great! So many in FFX!

That's where Yuna and Tidus finally give in to their emotions they've been holding back and they openly display their affection for each other. I love it!
It starts out with Yuna so stressed and sad, and worried, but Tidus makes her feel secure, and she notices that the bond of love...has formed between them. Perfect scene for an FMV.

Yeah the spring scene was kinda cool

I can't help but think Tidus was taking advantage of her in her emotional state :p

LOL Nah, I really don't feel that Tidus was trying to take advantage of her at all. I don't think Tidus is that type of guy. I believe he truly did love Yuna, and he wanted to show her that by kissing her and holding her in his arms like he did when they were underwater. That scene was so beautifully done.

it was just so shad

Made me laugh

Actually there were a lot of places throughout the series that touched me. The opera in FFVI, a lot in FFVII, the end of FFVIII, multiple parts of FFIX, and all the father son parts of FFX are prime examples for me. I'll write more in a minute...

EDIT: There were a lot of places in FFVII where I felt saddened or concerned for the characters. I was very angry at Aeris's death but not upset. I was emotional when I saved Barret's hometown of Correl. I was emotional when Cloud was in a coma... that kind of thing. FFIX's most touching scene is easily in Lindblum at the top near the telescope between Zidane and Garnet. That and when she cut her hair were both powerful scenes, IMO.

FFVI: Ahh! When Rachel and locke are in the Treasure Cave and he is unable to save her.

FFV: When Reina's dragon forfeits its life in order to give her the Phoenix summon!

The ones that got to me the most that i can remember.. because it's been awhile since i've played Final Fantasy:
FF8: When Squall and Rinoa are up in the spaceship i believe and she sits on his lap or something.. and some nice music that fits the mood goes on...
FF10: The moment that go to me the most in this one was at the end when Yuna runs for Tidus to try and hold onto him and she just falls right through him.. and at the end she's sitting at the dock whistling for him
Another one was when Tidus found out was Yuna actually had to do to defeat Sin... he was a very sad guy when he found out :P
