I am only short now of one particular fiend, and guess what: it's those bleedin' Tonberrys. Does anyone know an easy way of finding them?

I've heard that sometimes the catch rates will be more in your favor if you restart the game and try again. Apparently the rates are determined randomly each time you turn on the game...but I've never really seen that help too much with finding the rarer monsters.

No, you're just going to have to bite the bullet on this one. Maybe get a book to read or something while you're hunting. :wacky:
 
They're in the cavern of the stolen Fayth, if I recall correctly. If you just run around there, they should show up after a while. They came up quite often when I was there, I found, but that might have just been me. :gasp:
 
They only appear in certian parts of the cavern. The "green room" (small area off to the right at one of the intersections) is one such place, although contrary to what some people may tell you, it certianly isn't the only place they can appear, and they're no more frequent there than anywhere else they can appear. It's simply that it's the only place I know off the top of my head.
 
Yeah, I find 10 of them 2-3 days ago.
It was in that Green room as that guy says.
