ok, so i tried entering a few friend codes, and every time (about 40 odd attempts) it tells me there's an error in the code i put in. This is frustrating at best, tempting me to throw my ds against the ******* wall at worst. So, if anyone knows how to guarantee it, let me know.

i can think of a few ideas - does the other person have to be online while you enter their code? Or do you have to be a certain way through the game?

anyway, if anyone can clear this up, it's be great.
 
You might be entering it incorrectly, or maybe the person who gave you the FC gave you the wrong one.

If your just finding people who have posted theirs and adding it, theres a problem. They might've started New Game or something. And you wont be able to exchange mail with them unless they also have your FC.

Yeah, i was just trying codes people had posted. Any suggestion what to do then?
