Missed "gems"

Have any of you missed what most people would call "gems"?

For example, I have never played a single Zelda game (apart from about 20 mins worth of one of them on the DS, train walker or something?) which most gamer friends find shocking.

I personally haven't played Zelda games, System shock 1 or 2 (although brought 2 on Steam summer sale but have yet to play much), and I'm sure there's more that you think "OMGWTFBBQ what do you mean you haven't played ***?!"

I would say must plays are: Jagged Alliance 2, Fallout 1 & 2, Mass Effect, Command & Conquer Red Alert, Deus Ex and I'm sure there's a few more I've forgotten but this is enough to get a discussion started.

Are there any that you know most people think are amazing and must haves but you just haven't got round to getting/playing?

I feel like the biggest games of recent memory that I'm missing out on are the Mass Effect series. Also, I own Fallout 3, but have never played more than an hour or two.

I feel that Shin Megami Tensei: Nocture (Lucifer's Call in some areas) is a hidden gem that not enough people have played. It is the best non-FF RPG I have played.
