Mind Control

That's intense. I'm not sure how I feel about it. Part of me thinks it's awesome...and the other part finds it pretty disturbing.
 
I wanna know how they get it to work. The crazy asian scientist said they used algorithms to transmit brain waves or w/e...but seeing as how I am neither strong in math or science, I haven't a bloody clue what he means.
 
Does this mean I could make my morning brew using the power of my mind? Then get a remote control helicopter...oh I HAVE ONE OF THOSE :gasp: to bring my brew to me?

I think that would be truly epic. Id be able to have a brew in bed

Altho, saying that, I could just get a teasmaid thingy.....Iv been looking at them on e-bay :wacky:
 
I don't think electronics quite stretches to helicopters and kettles etc.

i've never liked the idea of those teamaid things, I know i'd knock it over and then get burnt with extremely hot tea.

It sounds like we'd have to wear silly hats on our heads so our thoughts could be conveyed to the electronics.

I never thought of that, and Im like the clumsiest person in the world, Il just have to hope i can control my kettle with my mind -_________-;

Id like to be able to change my tv channel that way though, it would save a lot of time searching for the chuffing remote -__-

lol, no way, that stupid reporter said we'd be seeing it in games and other stuff within a year which I highly doubt. It's still very knew tech, and like he said they wanna use it for elderly first...so I'm pretty sure hospitals and nursing homes and the like would be seeing it first.
