Playstation MGS Online Tips

Was woundering if anyone out there plays MGS4 Online and if so what strats do u often use to take out the opposing side?

Ive been playing Online for a little over a week and ive see a huge number of players jump in and out of box mode when doding gun fire from enemies. Does it keep the enemy from getting headshots? or do u take less damage inside the box?

Ah, the old box pop.

Basically, box popping makes it harder for the enemy to headshot you, or even hit you atall, due to the movement. Skilled players can also use this time (popping in and out of the box) to angle the camera so they can headshot the other guy.

As for stratergy, it really depends on what your strengths are. Many people are really skilled CQC and knife users, others are just good at run n gunnin, others snipe.

Set your skills up to suit your strengths.

I mainly use Assault Rifiles, but don't bother wasting a skill slot on the AR skill. Instead, I use Monomania3 (shows the person you've hit on the map, particulary helpful in TSNE and RES) Quarterback3 (throw grenades further and faster) Sixth Sense3 (can see enemy traps, and with SS3, it displays them through SOP to your team mates) and I usually change the last slot around, between Runner, blades, handgun and such like.

I do change them depending on what mission I'm playing though.

What server are you on? If you are on EU, I can set up a training game and teach you a thing or 2 if you like.
