Magic pots give an insane amount of AP...or whatever i t is that levels your materia up, so like, if you have triple growth weapons, your materia will level up at the speed of light,
you have to use an elixer on the magic pots in order for you to be able to damage them, other wise you will hit for 0 regardless of what attack you try

It;'s how I levelled my materia up my last playthrough, it really does level up that fast :gasp:
 
Ahh ok thanks... i never knew any of this, when i completed it, i knew nothing about materia or this... Shows how easy the game actually is. But ive started the pc version, and trying not to miss a trick now.
 
Hell, one Master All materia will pretty much set you up for the whole game, selling for 1.4 million if memory serves. Easy to do even if you just level up casually.
 
By that point you could just remake Sylkis greens and sell them off.
 
get w-item found in midgar when you drop from the ship then go get ethers the dubble them 73k for 99 there you ar gill final fantasy cash gone up
 
That is a fast way to get gils by multiplying items by using the W-Item materia and selling them. Also you can sell a master All materia for 1,000,000 gils each.
