XBox Mass Effect

It's done by Bioware, what else needs to be said?

This is the game that is making me seriously consider getting round to getting a 360, not 100% sure about the Battle System (if you can call it that) but it looks sweet and looking forward to messing with the speech options as well.

I definately looking forward to this game. If its anything like Bioware's past games, I know I'll enjoy it.

Mass Effect looks downright amazing. The way characters react to dialogue decisions is--again--amazing. The battle-system looks gripping.

Can't hurt that Bioware is in charge of things.

This game looks very good, I'm really looking forward to buying it.

I apologize if this is already common knowledge, but when is this game slated to be released?

Lemme google it...

Summer 2007, supposedly. June...to be more specific. So...next month, possibly.

Bioware have never let me down, i'm a huge fan, always looking forward to their releases. Their games are so different and interesting to play, and this game will be no exception no doubt. It's huge and looks like a game of the year candidate, we'll find out in the Summer I guess.

However they could have made Jade Empire longer though, but was a great game anyway to play.

Has anyone else played this great game yet? I just love it. It's just like KOTOR but better. I've got the Collector's Edition but haven't checked the bonus disc yet. I've played about 5 hours so far and it's really enjoyable. I'm playing as a Soldier but will try a different class next time I play.

it is a good game i cant wait for the next Mass Effect 2. I think they said they would go off the choices u make in the game, the bonus disc is okay but i have been preoccupied with assassin's creed

Haven't really heard much of Mass Effect, but I like BioWare's stuff. Is it really good?

I found the bonus disc quite interesting. Haven't looked at the gallery but the documentaries were good.

I've already finished Mass Effect twice and am on my third playtrhough. Once I've done that, I'll just have two more allies to get the achievement for and will play through to get the insane completion and the level 50 & 60 ones too.

I heard about your choices would carry over to Mass Effect 2 as well but I'm not sure just how much of your choices count or it could just be main plot choices.

I've really been looking forward to playing this game. What similarities does this game have to KOTOR? And do you know if it's also out for the PC cuz I don't know if I'll get a 360 anytime soon, but I think my computer should be able to handle it.

I think it would be awesome if your choices in the first game end up effecting like the WHOLE STORYLINE/SETTING of Mass Effect 2 (and it would be fitting of the title, 'Mass Effect' as your gameplay in the first one Massively Effect the second.)

Here's a review from gametrailers on Mass Effect. Hope it helps, AddleBoy.

WolfBlack, not sure if you were using the play on words there but just in case, the "Mass" in Mass Effect refers to "Size" or "Weight" and not to "Massive". It's explained in the game why it's called Mass Effect.

Anyway, it'd be cool if people you saved or killed were either in the next games or gone. For instance, if you killed someone in first game, maybe a family member could be looking for you to get revenge. Small details like that would make it more enjoyable, at least to me.

I know. It was a play on words, but it would still be rather awesome if it ended up like that...

Sorry about that WolfBack, just didn't know for sure. :D

If you'd do quests like Wrex's family armour or Garrus' Dr one, it'd be cool if you could either go SEE Wrex's family in the next game or try and find other people that were "treated" by the Dr.

I was told this was an RPG,but action style. Would you say its good for a RPG player to get it? I did enjoy KOTOR games alot.

Eh...Mass Effect doesn't appeal to me much. I play for 30 minutes, put the game down for a few weeks, play another 30 minutes, and put it down for another few weeks and so on.

The combat is incredibly dull. I'd only play the game for the story.
