I've seen teh Balitmore Orioles play twice now in my life. I saw them once out in philly in '02, and then last year I went down to Camdan (sp?) Yards to see them taken on the Rangers. Not the most interesting team to see play, but it was a fun experience.
hmmm i have a feeling that New York Yankees are going to go far like usual, same with the Red Sox. I sure hope that the Blue Jays do something. Might be there year finally
Baseball needs to implement a salary cap. I'm tired of watching teams like the Mets, Yankees and Red Sox purchase all-star teams.
But anyway, I'm just hoping the Phillies can compete in the NL East. The Braves are almost always a lock to be in the race...and the Mets are naturally the favorite to win the division.
Yeah, lol. I see the Yankees and Red Sox buy off great quality rookies and free agents and stuff. I doubt they even know what the farm system is supposed to be for since they can afford quality guys off the bat.
It makes it all the sweeter when the Yankees lose, though. They spend all that money...and for what? To lose in the playoffs to teams who spend a third of money the Yankees do. Pretty funny.
Does anyone remember seeing when A-Rod can by the blue jays guy and said "MINE!" i thought that was so mean cause the guy that was going to catch it moved away. A-Rods a bitch for cheating :mad2:
I'm not sure what to think of that. Part of me thinks the Blue Jays should have been aware enough to make the play regardless, but it still wasn't very sportsmanlike of A-Rod to pull something like that.
I'm surprised the Detroit Tigers are struggling as they are, being ranked so high in so many commentators' polls and whatnot. Lost seven in a row, won one, and now just lost another one. Doesn't look too good.
What did everybody think about the season opener in Tokyo with the Red Sox taking 2 from the Athletics a couple weeks ago?
