Well, one of my favourite Broadway Musicals is, "Wicked" and, by seeing it, I was inspired to plan writing this story: "Magic Mirror".

It follows the similar theme of 'Wicked' by telling you an untold story. Everyone knows the tale of 'Snow White', but I plan on writing the tale that you didn't hear. The main plot is the life of the 'wicked' stepmother, and, by reading it, you'll realise that the Queen wasn't actually trying to kill her stepdaughter, but that she was trying to save her. It's supposed to say that the whole tale was twisted into making the Queen look like the villain.

Though I plan on writing it out, I don't actually know if I should... that's why I want to hear what you think so far. I have a full storyline in my head that I should explain later when I get it all sorted out, but what I want to know is, from reading what I've wrote, would YOU personally read this story? Would you be interested?

I mainly want to know so that I know if I should write it out or not. So, any advice or anything would be appreciated, thank you! :D

I don't know anything about 'Wicked' but I do know about Snow White, and hearing a mature, serious story (as this is how it sounds) would be lovely. That is what it is, yes?

I'm interested.

Yeah, the story is quite mature. It even deals with sexual situations like rape. It's all about the stepmother (Elspeth) and her childhood life and some questions could be answered like why she can be so vain. She was ridiculed as a child by humans because she was a Troll (but her brother cast a spell on her later to make her become a beautiful woman) and so, she gets very concerned about her looks.

I would be extremely interested in reading such a story! I have yet to see Wicked, but the concept alone is really intriguing, especially exactly how you twist events and bring about a mature spin to Snow White. That one idea you just proposed instantly opens so many avenues to explore. Could the spell be constantly maintained by her own self-confidence? Is that why she always has a mirror? Could the threat of Snow White's beauty mean that she was trying so hard to kill her because she didn't want to revert back into an ugly troll? Etc...

So yeah, I am really intrigued by this. I hope you do go for it.
