Okay, I woke up today, and looked beside my bed. On the ground were my glasses. Now when I picked them up, I noticed that one lense had fallen out. I'm cleaning my room right now in a desperate attempt to find it, but if I dont find it, my moms going to eat my fingers. How much exactly would a single lense cost, in case I cant find it?

I don't know about a single lense, but I know that my current glasses overall cost a little over a hundred dollars

yes you can buy a single lens... but idk how much it will cost... it depends on your prescription and if they were scratch proof lenses those usually cost more than normal lenses...

Dont worry mate we've all been there (all who have worn glasses) the cost depends on the type of lense that you have. A general rule of thumb is just below half price of the original pair, if you go to a local optician and are below 16.

Oh my god.. I just found it, lol.

And Im not sure if you could, I was hoping. Man I hate my glasses, this crap always happens, but the lense is just usually right beside the frame. I should've listened to my grandpa when he said, "Dont keep that GameBoy that close to your face, or you'll go blind."

Damn my ability to block people out when playing games.

Yeah, I'm 15. And my lenses aren't scratch proof .

lol maybe you should take them to go get adjusted so the lens doesnt come out as much..

Lol, yeah. My grandpa has this box of the little screws that hold the lenses in the frame because he was an optomotrist (or something) back in his day. He put a longer one in, the last time it fell out, and it hasn't happend since. But the other fell out today and I got scared because my mom would've been really pissed.

LOL. Well, whenever my glasses lens fall out, I usually find it. And if I don't, I got extra pairs which I can hardly see out of. Though I got contacts now.

The best way to stop it happening again is ether tighten the screw at the side of the lens with a tiny screwdriver or just put nail varnish on the screw, and let it set, but dont wear the glasses at the same time cos nail varnish stinks.
