Playstation Lord of the Rings Conquest

I duno man this game kinda looks like starwars battle front just with lord of the rings characters instead of stormtroopers. I mean it looks nice and it also looks like you can play both sides and be any character you want which is sweet. I also see a lot of enviorments from the movie that I would love to play in. I'm going to wait for the reviews and maybe find a demo to play before I decide to go out and buy it.
 
Actually I downloaded the demo from PSN before I paid it off and I enjoyed the hell out of it. Was really good. Much more freedom than the other ones.

The demo was uploaded onto PSN last Thursday. I've been playing it from about then every now and then and I'm really enjoying it.

I can't wait to see what the finished game is like, as it is quite a lot of fun with only the two levels in the demo (and these two levels I don't think are the full thing, as they're blocked off by badly placed barricades that looks as if in the final product it'll expand out more).

And its quite fun to play as a troll, ent, Gandalf etc, though I haven't had a chance to play the Witch King or Balroq yet, but I've seem some people play as them!


But yeah, thats essentially what it is. Star Wars Battlefront but with Lord of the Rings, but I don't think thats a bad thing. I liked the style of the Battlefront games, and I think many franchises should do something similar.

I didn't know there was more to it I did the training part and closed the demo out

On a lighter note it is actually much better than battlefront by far.

Ah, no there is a lot more to it. You can have full 16 player online battles. :D

I'm not sure about the Balrog. I think he's a hero character, so whoever has the highest score on the team at certain points will be asked to play as him I think.

But for Ents you see them about the map as trees, and if you're on the team of good then you just press R1 on them and then you become the ent. Same with Trolls for the evil team. They're pretty good.
 
Being able to go online like this though is certainly a great thing. And even then this is just a demo as well. Gettin my copy Wednesday morning after work lol.
 
iv recently bought the lord of the rings conquest, its relli good, the missions are relli well thought out and the characters are good to use, also the online mode is quiet entertaining, i prefer the rise of saron mode to the good mode, the story does deeper into the trilody and shows you what would potentialy happen if they darkeness won
 
Looks like I gotta be the oddball of this thread.

I would NOT advise Conquest to anyone. I thought it was a horrible game...The single player missions were far too short and easy, and the onlines lag is brutal. I had this game reserved and got it on release day, and traded it back within a week.

And, on a more informative note, the Balrog one of the evils heros, and the Ent is one of the goods I believe.
