Locke, Terra, Celes

I don't know what idea is to make threads like this... I really don't... anyway to the point

I agree with you. IMHO, Terra should be with Locke. Not Celes. End of story.
 
I am one of those who thinks Locke should have just woken up his sleeping girlfriend.

I think Terra and Celes would have been better off with each other as they could understand each other in a way no one else could.
 
He cant bring back his dead girlfriend... she is dead... and not even teh phoenix was able to save her...
 
Well if you think about it, Terra never talked to Locke once after the WOB, I think Celes and Locke are way better than Terra and Locke.
 
Locke and Celes are made for eachother. I see Terra and Locke as friends, you dont sense any chemistry between them at all. Seriously, Celes was the one worrying about Locke, Terra didnt worry one bit.

That is a good question. We started out the game with Locke and Terra until we met the cold as ice general while in prison in South Figaro when Locke was making his way out of the village. To me the two who were meant for each other is Terra and Locke.
Think about some of the things Celes said throughout the game such as and i quote, "I'm a soldier, not some love-starved twit." or

"Even if you got me out, you'd never be able to protect me. No...I think I'm better off here." In my opinion think that the second reason seems more realistic in that situation. She gives up easily if it seems unlikey to happen. She is terribly pessimistic until the second half of the game, after the world is nearly destroyed. Celes gives up after she thinks that everyone has died. She even tried to commit suicide, but fails. She becomes more optimistic, because she saw Locke's bandana. She has faith in the world, because even after the entire world has blown up, a peice of hope still exists. She spends her time finding all of her friends, knowing that they had to be alive. She told herself that, and was able to use her new sense of courage to help the entire world.

So their are my opinions.
 
Eh, yeah, Rachel's dead so there's no way to "wake her up" per say.

As for who was best with Locke, the game is pretty obvious--Celes. Sure Terra and Locke share some tender moments but to me they never become anything more than a brother-sister relationship. They care for one another but not to the extent of Celes and Locke. I use to think Terra was in love with Leo but after what happened to him it wouldn't work.

As for TerraxCeles, the game dosen't support this at all. The most I can see from this is what they had in common--their experiences with the Empire. Celes felt like an older sister to Terra even though they were the same age. That's what I got from the game, anyways.
