Yeah, I'm doing this

---
Beginning
Everything is pretty straight-forward until you reach Black Waltz No. 1. Except for the fact that if you encounter more than 2 Plant Spiders you will have to reset because you'll level up.
Black Waltz No. 1: To beat him you need get into Trance, kill BW with Free Energy, attack Sealion once and then finish him off with a Dyne Move. You can't potion yourself while you're in trance which makes this battle a bit luck-based. Took me about 5 attempts before I discovered this useful tactic.
---
Before entering Dali I brought Zidane and Steiner to near-trance. I completely obliterated Black Waltz No. 2 with Trance Steiner.
Oh, and I sold all my Ethers and Phoenix Pinions and bought 70 Wrists for the Cotton Robe trick.
---
I tried beating Black Waltz No. 3 without the previous tactic but I failed badly. So yeah, trance preparations again. Easy battle.
Former Status: Lindblum, before the Festival

Update 1
Festival Preparation: Cotton Robe trick put into work, 40,000 Gil obtained. Obtained The Ogre.
The Festival: You MUST reach the Zaghnol and you MUST steal the Needle Fork from him. I used a tent to render him harmless, stole the Fork and let Freya kill him.
---
There are 2 things that must be done now: Obtain Limit Glove for Quina and get Healing Shore Chocograph. So yeah, I did that.
Blue Magic is hard to get because when a battle is won because of Quina eating, EXP is still received. The only way is to enter a battle with two or more monsters, eating one and then fleeing. Mandragoras are hard to encounter and very tough, it was pretty hard and time consuming, but this challenge is almost impossible without Limit Glove.
Streamside and Healing Shore need to be obtained, Between Mountains is optional but you'll probably get that too. Streamside's Germinas Boots go on Zidane - they have Flee (which I haven't learned yet due to lack of AP) and Alert (which should always be on).
---
Black Mages were dispatched by using Needle Fork and Add Status. Tents were used on the Black Mages, and a lot of Potions were used, both on the party members and on the Black Mages (Quina's attack does damage and we don't want them to die, we want them to get petrified).
Gizamaluke was OHKO'd with Limit Glove (preparations were made for Quina to enter the battle with 1 HP).
---
Healing Shore obtained. Now, here's something that not everyone thinked of - if you go back to the Chocobo's Forest through Giz. Grotto with Light-blue Chocobo you can get 2 new Chocographs, which means you get the very useful Magician's Robe (Auto-Potion = love, also it has a LOT of defense and raises Magic which is useful for Stop) and the INCREDIBLY useful Oak Staff (It has STOP! This is very important to the LLC, get it).
---
Burmecia wasn't hard, Beatrix was OHKO'd with Limit Glove, same preparations were made.

CURRENT STATUS: END OF DISC ONE
