Hey there folks, here's the opening to our new series: Unravel! This is the PS4 version and is going to be completely blind. I've done zero research so I don't spoil myself and ruin the series...all I know is that it's a 2D platformer with an indie flair ;).

Oh, I also know that the following were involved in the game: EA and Coldwood. None of the game was made by me, naturally ;).

That's about all I can say considering the blind nature of it. I hope you (and I) enjoy what's to come and we can experience a new game together maybe :).

Episode 1 - Yarny Walks The Garden Path

Hey there folks, welcome to the start of Unravel! I'm really excited to get started on this one so here are the opening cinematics along with the first stage!

The cinematics may be really uneventful, but it's all done in such a quaint, relaxing way that I can't help but love it. That old knitting grandma makes everything seem so homely and the way that one of her creations can run around the house is strangely intriguing :s.

As for the first stage (Thistle And Weeds), this whole garden area is so perdy to look at! I love seeing the wildlife run around and the various obstacles in our path :). It's all just so indie and relaxing and...creative. I'm looking forward to seeing if they keep things varied in each stage. It'd be a shame if every stage ended up as more of the garden. Even if that bit of action at the end was amazing lmao ;).

Episode 2 - Yarny Enjoys Some Sunbathing

Hey folks, just a heads up that I had to reduce the quality to 720p due to way over the top filesize and rendering times etc. Hope it still looks ok :).

Anyways, this time around we head on over to the sea (or the beach as I couldn't stop calling it :s). I'm not a fan of beaches in general but this is really nice. It shows off how Yarny's family have such great memories of their time and the beach and it's just...tear-jerking. That's what it is :'(. Then there's that whole boat part that really shook up the stage lmao. Definitely enjoyed that!

This was a definite difference from the first stage so I have high hopes in the variety department! :)

Episode 3 - Yarny Faces The Fog

Hey peoples, off to the Berry Mire we shall go! This place has some stunning looking scenery but it's also the stage with the toughest puzzles so far. I love and hate this area in equal measures...so it's not my favourite stage we've seen. Those bugs and fog are really hard to take care of.

Hey there folks, it's really nice out today (which is rare in the land of Wales) so I'm gonna keep this one brief :).

This time around, we're taking on the Mountain Trek, which is a huge feat for our little Yarny :s. Keep an eye out for our greatest foe (I wouldn't wanna take that thing on! Is it beaver???) along with a change of scenery towards the end. I actually really loved this stage, from the action music, to the two different environments in one stage, to the simplicity of it (mostly) :).

Hey there folks, welcome to Off The Rails! This one doesn't have too much different from a past stage or two but it does have my least favourite puzzle so far. You'll know it when you see it :s.

Hey there folks, I never expected to see a horror stage in a cutesy game like this, but that's what Down In A Hole gives us! I loves the spiders and crows hanging around, along with that music. The car at the start and the thunder and lightning are amazing too! This is definitely one of my favourite stages and I hope you enjoy it too ;).

The one thing I will say is why is that the name of the stage? I don't think we really go down in a hole? :s

Episode 7 - Yarny Visits The Cockroaches

Hey folks, How Much Is Enough is so varied it's unreal :/. I mean, there's the same horror theme as last time, but this time is pretty different.

There's the instant kill acid, the yarn eating cockroaches (kinda like how moths eat yarn I guess?), telephone lines in a thunderstorm (I love the effects used here) and a bit of time at the office. I'm not a fan of that last puzzle but it's a small part of the overall stage.

Hey there folks! I actually love The Letter! The snow is only light but that makes the set so much more stunning :D. While the crows can be a pain during one small portion, I love the part where you actually get to help one of your enemies to live. It's ever so Resi 4 ;).

Hey there folks, what we have here is Winter Sun! It's so nice to look at and it's just so simple and relaxing! No really difficult puzzles here but I like that. The stages are definitely shorter lately...or maybe I'm just getting stuck less? Who knows ha.

Hey there folks, there's nothing quite like a bit of Rust, right? ;)

This time around we take on a stage that still full of snow (but looking very different still) along with a garage section! I don't normally like garages but this place does it all in the Unravel style that keeps me ever so interested :). I'm not too sure what else to say other than the last episode will be up tomorrow! It was gonna be today but I fell asleep when I got home and now there's no time for everything :s.

Hey peoples, here's the last episode of Unravel! Last Leaf has the last stage along with a little surprise at the end :D. We also get the end cinematics and credits etc, where I get to express what I think of the game overall and there's some really nice music going on :).

The next series will have an opening up tomorrow so long as I can figure out an issue I'm having with Vegas. Either way, it's something a bit more substantial and I hope you look forward to it ;). In a bit!
