Step 3 - Place on ground while fully extended (this is the tricky bit)
Step 4 - Allow someone who trusts you to climb up the ladder as you hold it
Step 5 - Shake like mad and kill them off

Hey peoples, it's time for us to go visit the Sonozaki residence and see how Mion's doing! Y'know...with the help of the police to protect us :s.

While there, we learn a wee bit of history about Hinimazawa (it ain't all sunshine and rainbows...especially when you're eating canned human flesh!). We also get Mion to admit her wrongdoings! Honest!

Mion is ever so kind and decides to show us (well, Keiichi) where the torture chamber is. Is that a Shion we hear as we're strapped to a torture device and about to have nails hammered into our bodies???

Hey there folks, welcome to what is technically the end of the arc! I mean, we'll be checking out the bonus content where the cast theorises what the hell's going on, but this is the end of the plot of the arc really.

As for this episode: will Keiichi escape the pain of the nail torture device? Will Shion escape the prison? Will Mion become sane again or even give herself in to the police? :eek:

I'll just say that there's twist after twist incoming. Keep a hold of your pants sirs and madams! ;)

Hey there folks, welcome to the last of arc 2! This time around we're gonna check out what we unlocked at the end of the main plot: the cast theories! Just like at the end of arc 1, they all get together and have a good chinwag about what they think is going on; this time they have two arcs to work with and come up with some really great stuff!

So, after all this, do you reckon all of the deaths were caused by a curse? Or do you think it was people? It seems like the Sonozakis are highly suspicious in this arc, but the cast have a counter-argument for that!

Hey there folks, the 3rd arc of Higurashi has finally been released on Steam so let's get cracking!

So this time around we take on the start of Satoko's arc: the Curse Killing Arc! Y'know, you could call it the Tatarigoroshi arc but...that's a bit of a mouthful lol.

As for the bit of plot that's going on: it looks like there has been a dead body in the sewage area for a while now! A few days in fact :gasp2:. Don't worry about that though; we've got a bento making contest to win! Well done Keiichi...I'm sure you fooled them all lmao!

Hey folks lol. This time around, we see exactly how Keiichi does when cooking for himself. We all heard how he's a bonafide professional chef so this can only end well, right? :gasp:

...so anyway, Satoko comes over to make Keiichi a meal (he doesn't want to turn her down and seem too arrogant, y'know?). It's actually a really heartwarming part and it builds up their relationship much better than in the anime and manga. I'm loving this arc so far :s.

Hey there folks, are you ready for the great bento box bonanza? The game has been building up to this one for a whole chapter so this should be good :griin:. Of course, it doesn't help that there's some underhanded scallywaggery going on :gasp:.

Oh! but the best part is that they finally show the teacher! She looks a little bit different from the anime but not too much. How she looks isn't that important when you consider that our group are going to dare to chance being murdered by her!

You'd think this is just another cooking part with Satoko, and it partially is, but it's more about showing their relationship grow. I'm loving how they've done it in this version of the story. It's slow, but relaxing and heartwarming :s.

Other than that, we learn a bit more about Satoshi and Satoko's relationship and...well, a wee bit more lol ;).

Of course, nothing is more important than fighting for your friends right? He just needs to take his golf club and away he goes, leaving his poor parents behind to take on the house full of guests :lew:.

Hey there folks, here comes the darkness! It may not last very long, but Rena is the character who really kicks things off this time (not that it's her turn to shine but...she has her reasons lol). Then again, she isn't the only character who's having issues with the term "transferred schools" or "ran away". There's something ever so suspicious going on with the whole Satoshi situation. Hmmmmm :hmmm:.

Maybe things will stay a-ok if Keiichi just doesn't talk about all that, huh? Well...maybe...

Hey peoples, it's a pretty short one today! Chapter 5 kicks things off with a pretty subtle school day, without a Satoko in sight. It's not like her to be absent...

There's a lot of mystery surrounding this fact but our group make sure to try and keep positive. I actually love this part and, while it could have been boring, the way that the group hold things together and completely turn Rika and Keiichi's moods around is something I couldn't stop reading about :s.

Luckily, there's a doctor on site and we're fine, but this is the point where we know something is wrong with Satoko's absence. Ooishi and Satoko have some history and apparently it's family related ;).

It turns out that her uncle has returned to Hinamizawa (as mentioned in the last set of TIPS), which means that he is her guardian again! Yay! She'll be nice and safe now, right? He'll be cooking for her, cleaning the house for her. It'll be lovely :). Maybe.

This part is pretty heartbreaking and it's made all the worse by those chosen tracks. Actually, one of them is my favourite from the game so far.

While he's there, he meets some characters from the past 2 arcs: Takano and our favourite photographer! Ye olde nurse decides that it's a good idea to put a new idea into Keiichi's head...
