I just recently got this game for the PSP (because I ADORE music) and saw it's an RPG associated with music! I'm coming along okay in it so far but I still have a long way to go. It's a very classic looking RPG and I was just wondering if any of you guys had played this game yet? What do you think of Forte, Una, McBain and the other characters?

Oh I so want this and the second game!
I have the first one for my PSP, but havent played it in awhile. Do I need to play the games in any order or doesnt it matter?

No I don't think so! From the research I did I can tell that each game has different characters and storyline, kinda like the FF games. I'm really into III right now, but I wanna get my hands on the first two games! Are they still available to buy?

Its good to see other LoH fans on this board, as I'm probably the biggest one, Har har har.

Anyways... Yes, you can still get the first two. The first one came out before Christmas in 2005, which is when I got my copy of it. The second one is probably easier to find, as it is new... It came out before the summer in 2006. I loved them both, but I believe that the first one, A Tear of Vermillion, is the best one. The storyline is actually pretty dark, compared to the other RPGs out there, especially when these games came out in Japan like, in the 80s. And in part two, there are a lot of typos, but I still love the storyline, because they have some thinkers in there, like FFVII with Sephiroth/JENOVA, you know.

I haven't played part 3 yet though, so I can't really contribute... I plan on buying it soon, probably the next time I head over to EB, because I still have gift cards from Christmas and my birthday back in January.

And, I hate to say it, but if youre a perfectionist, you will need the other copies, except, if you only own number one, then you dont need any other.

How that works is the Chronology. In part II, in order to get a complete Chronology, you must have a save file on your Memory Sitck Duotm with a 100% Chronology from the first one. Which is then added to the Chronology in the second. It's probably got the same system going in the thrid, possibly to generate more sales... But yeah. Sorry to inform you.

I just got the game last night actually. I couldn't stop listening to the song playing in the Start Menu - it is extremely relaxing. Forte and Una are cute together, but I wish Una would just go ahead and tell her how she feels about Forte already. Currently, I'm at the part where they both went to deliver dye to this one town (forgot the name).

The battle system's pretty cool, if not simple. But I like simplicity just fine. Anyway, I can sense adventure lurking around the corner any time now.
