Kimahri's overdrive question

Is it true that if I use Kimahri's overdrive ability called Jump, he can attack enemies that aren't within normal attack range, say like when you fight Sin and he's far away? It's just that I read it somewhere and wanted to confirm it's true. Thanks for the help!

nop i tryed it i tryed using jump on sin w/overdrive and it didn't work ^^ i tohught it would look kool for ihm to jump dat far

Yeah like Hell_Razer said, it's just a close range attack. However, you can nail Sin with something like Seed Cannon I'm pretty sure of. As long as it's nothing close range-melee-wise, you'll be fine.
