They are all nice, But I think your main issues are blending, text and brushwork.
BLENDING
To be honest i cant see any being done, get yourself on some tutorials. Theyre free and easy to use.
TEXT
Everyone struggles with text. So dont worry about it. Again get on some tutorials about text effects and make them a little more elaborate.
BRUSHWORK
To be perfectly honest I cant see any Brushwork in these pieces. Do you know how to install new brushes? Tutorials do help with brushes, so again, get on some
Hope my advice helps you, ill keep checking back!
Keep up the good work
Thanks for the constructive Criticism Joey, in truth though, the stuff I did is the best I could do, since I don't really know how to work some of the Photoshop functions (ie. C4D et.al)
/Prepares self for typing a long post. I'll try and explain some? ^^
Placement of stock; with most stuff you gotta keep it in the middle of your canvas, your signature, or large piece, whatever it is that you're making. But not EXACTLY in the middle, Lewis (Lagunasdream) had some tuts on Youtube, that should still be there. Where he said, move it slightly to the left or right.
Which you seem to be doing already.
This would help alot, with your text placement.
Text placement; As said, you don't want your image RIGHT in the middle, it makes it hard to place your text, and will get very distracting.
It's said, that it's best to keep your text as "short" as you can. I know I tend to have to urge to write essays on signatures. o.-;;; Hehe.
You'd best be off keeping it close to your stock. (I'm not sure about the airplanes you're working with, it'd be hard for me to place text) but I think you're not doing bad at all.
C4D usage; This is the easiest out there...
Say you have a C4D image;
All you do, is place it on your current canvas, once you placed it, and cropped it (made the image smaller to your likings) you right click on your canvas.
You select Blending Options; Screen, or Linear Dodge are in your best interest most of the time.
You can just use your eraser, with the basic brushes, erase the bits you dont like. (mostly parts covering the focal, or the face of a person)
^^ Was that too complicated?
Now this was just a piece of advice, I don't expect you to use it.
------
I like this one. ^^ You have the blending going on, the text is nicely placed, and the added details to the whole signature are actually rather nice, I love how the end of the plane is fading into the darker red. ^^ Nicely done.
My laptop was attacked by malware a couple hours ago and it along with my photoshop is gone.... I'm fortunate to have a saved a copy of the files onto my jump drive but all my work and my laptop is gone.
