just completed final fantasy xii, heres what i think!! (possible spoilers)

Ok so ive jus completed xii and i have mixed views. Througout playin this game i always expected that i was gonna get hooked on it though i never did, the game never excited me. I thought the storyline was quite dry and there wasnt much character analysis, i never felt close to the characters unlike in other ff games, this meant i wasnt really bothered if anything were to happen to them. However up until the end i always thought the musical score was crap but i thot the song at the end was very good. As for the ending sequence the graphics were amazing. I thot the FMV wrapped up the story pretty good although i would rather have seen a little more about what the characters did in that 2 year gap, also maybe sumthin more exciting.

All in all i DID enjoy this game but i feel that it fell short of the mark in terms of storyline and excitement.
But thats just my oppinion.

yeah, maybe the story was simpler than other ffs , i enjoyed the hunts more than the main story.

I don't really think the story is as simple as you make it out to be. Do you know how Larsa's two other older brothers died? Know why Cuchulain is so hideously ugly? (Yes it's apart of the history of Ivalice, even though it doesn't deal with the present time), have any idea why Fran and Baltheir met up? Know how the Sun Cryst was formed and what it's initial purposes were for by the Occuria?

Tons of things to look into after the game, and things to look harder for when you play it a second time.
