Well this is the one-and-only Anti-Cloti fanclub.

The Rules

You have to dislike Cloud and Tifa as a couple - but you can like the frienship and other non-romantic relationships they had.
Its ok to like any other Cloud pairing like CloudxAeris, CloudxYuffie etc
Dont Flame/Troll ANYONE sayign that the idea of CloTi is stupid is ok but saying that CloTi Supporters are stupid is NOT okay and will NOT be tolerated
Post why you dont like CLoudxTifa and tell us why you like the pairing you do like

Ok ill start off. I Dislike the Pairing of Cloud/Tifa because (warning long tirade coming on here)

First of all they WERENT childhood friends - Cloud was a loner who secretly had a crush on Tifa - Tifa Was like queen of the qlique and practically ignored Cloud his whole life - And Childhood crushes HAPPEN you get over them - I doubt Cloud would be in "love" with tifa t like th age of 9

The Whole Lifestream bit - Yeah so Tifa helped him out - but that was because she got caught in the explosion (or earthquakey type thing) and got dragged in there too - if that happened to anyone else - like Aeris,Yuffie or Barret - im sure that they would have helped CLoud with his memories as well.

The ending Of FFVII - Cloud says he thinks he can go meet "her" there - "her" meaning Aeris - not once in the ending did he say that hed take tifa to go see marlene - as some people say

Advent Children - Ok Cloud and Tifa were NOT Living together - He was living in Aeris' Church
Cloud And Tifa were NOT Raising Denzel and Marlene Together - Tifa did that alone


So yeah thats where i tihnk CLoud/Tifa has been badly interpreted, plus i think that they have a more Brother/Sister relationship than lovers, but thats the nature of a love triangle its up to you to decide - and i chose Aeris :D

Your title threw me for a second. The way its worded makes it seem like this is a thread for flaaming members who support CloTi.

Since two staff have joined here I think things will stay under control but don't let anyone think they can flame other members, thats all.
 
I'm going to join up, too. I've always thought that Cloud and Tifa would be better to remain just friends, and I can't really see them as a couple. I prefer CloudxAerith because of the chemistry those two had. Who cares if he acted like Zack, she might've still had feelings for him anyways.
 
That's just the thing that people get so mixed up. This was actually confirmed. When Cloud and Aerith are on the Gondola together and she tells him That she wants to meet "him" basically in Japanese terms, Aerith is telling Cloud she wants to be his "girlfriend" She does know Cloud, it's just that she saw Zack in him but she also saw that he was a different person as well ^_^ I still think Cloud and Aerith are perfect together. They're chemisty was unmistakably perfect in my eyes and just because Aerith is gone doesn't mean that Cloud can't still love her. Also if you read Maiden of the Planet, it shows in there that Aerith loved Cloud much more than she ever loved Zack
 
I need to find Maiden Of The Planet somewhere online. I've heard it's a good read, and I want to check it out.
I also hate it when people say that Advent Children was basically a movie showing Cloud and Tifa's relationship becoming something more.
Er...did I miss something? It seems the reason Cloud was avoiding people more than he did before was because he was guiltridden by Aerith's death, which he could've prevented. He suddenly became much more happier after she told him she never blamed him for anything.

Cloud wanted Aerith's forgiveness. Cloud felt responsible for her death and because he loved her was overcome with grief and remorse. When he was hit with the Geostigma, Cloud just sort of gave up living, feeling that he would cause more hurt to the people he cared for than good. He didn't want to the same thing that happened to Aerith to happen to them (meaning AVALANCHE) and he felt that it would just put him at fault again. Poor Cloud. Once Aerith told him she never blamed him, Cloud felt his will grow again. He felt forgiven and felt that he could start anew, but that doesn't mean that he's going to have a relationship with Tifa the way he did with Aerith. Cloud and Tifa are best friends and nothing more.

I completely agree with them just being friends. I really can't picture them being anything more in my head.
 
count me in! im definitey a Cleris fan... lol OMG aeris's theme just started playing on my MP3 player as i began typing lol WOW i think aeris is trying to tell me something XD

ANd since you hate Cloti what are your favourite cloud and Tifa pairings??

Personally for me its Cleris FTW and I like Tifa And Vincent :P
 
I will have to join this club, because LA finally made me see that Cloud and Aerith belong together. Although I don't think that they ever even had a "relationship" with one another, but it was going in that direction, that's for sure. It's kind of like a tragic love story actually...

This club is not ONLY for Clerith Fans - Yaoi and Other Pairing fans are allowed - Clotis should stay away though :P
 
I think Reno and Tifa are really hot together :D and I think it's perfect because Reno loves women and beer and Tifa's a very attractive woman and she's barmaid xD :P

I'll join. I love Tifa, and I don't mind Cloud really, I just don't like the thought of them together :/ To me, honestly, they have no chemistry. I know that sounds weird, but even with video game or anime characters they have a certain amount of chemistry, and I sense none between these two D:

I'm not a Cleris shipper, but I'm not anti-Cleris either, so if Cloud runs off to the flower garden beyond the grave that's fine xD

I'm a hard-core VinTi VINCENT/TIFA FOREVER!!!!!!!!!!1 They're my OTP =D

I run both VinTi comms on LJ & GJ. The GJ comm is a bit dead though, since it seems there aren't as many VinTi shippers there D:

Now that I think about it, I do like that pairing. If you make a club for it I'll join. ;)

Back on topic. I never felt any chemistry between Cloud and Tifa either. I always saw them as friends. I actually saw more chemistry between Cloud and Yuffie than Cloud and Tifa. And no, I'm not a Cluffie.
 
Eep! right heres the thing i dont Know if Anti Clubs are allowed any more - if they are ill add you to the members list but if there not :|
 
Anti-Clubs are okay with me. I don't mind the Anti-Pairing clubs, but with characters as popular as Tifa and Aerith were, that was causing friction between the members. This club seems rather stable at the moment, but if you want to create a VinxTifa fanclub go right ahead ;) If this one does become unstable I'll most likely close it.
 
Now that I think about it, I do like that pairing. If you make a club for it I'll join.
