in his song Imagine. Do you think his message is right. I think that he tried to change the world with this song. (dont know what it is, look it up on you tube)

anyone else agree to the message that he's putting out.
I believe he's right.

Imagine theirs no countries.
Nothing to kill or die for
or no religon to.
imagine all the people
living life in peace
no need for greed or hunger

I think he was right. join the world as one. Share it with everyone.
As the world stands now, I think it sucks. And the new generation is going to kill it for us. So many stupid kids. I think if there was any hope we follow what he wanted, with a few minor changes, and we could have a utopia.

Well, if Mark David Chapman didn't kill him, then probably the world would never have listened with more heart than what it is now.
I mean, the whole assassination thing most likely gave the song to the world more than anything else.

I love the song.
I love it's words.
It's a song with meaning in a world without.

I totally agree with him.
I totally agree when they said he was a visionary.

I he didn't die, I wonder what our world would be like today.
Would the Beatles ever have reunited?

dont know. But i agree with him as well. The song is great. And I get what your saying about him dying and the song getting more famouse. (I like your sig Let It Be is a great song)

Lennon also brought together all of his bandmates one day to tell them that he was, in fact, Jesus Christ. True story.

Phenomenal song, phenomenal record. I have a gold plated, framed commemorative version of the record hanging in my room. If I can get my hands on a camera, I'll post a pic.

They lyrics are pretty obvious. He's telling people to live for today, with no consequences. Peace is a strong theme here as well, as most wars thus far have been started by the idea he tells you to 'imagine' don't exist.

I wish I could.

Anyways, yeah, it's a great song not because of it's awesome rhythm, but because of the words.

His signature song, unfortunately, was made without the rest of the Beatles. -_-

And Fields, I've heard that story lol.
And the one where people got outraged that he said that they were more popular than Jesus. Man, that was awful.
I suppose he really didn't mean it the way the public perceived it to be, but then again, it was the media.

John Lennon is my absolute favorite artist. Usually I try to go outside of the most popular song being one of my favorites, but Imagine was amazing. It is amazing. He is very inspiring to me. He had a hell of a childhood, too. =/

Yar, he had a tough time with his dad, if I recall correctly. =(
But then that inspired him to be a good dad in himself, so I guess it taught him something later on in life, which is always a good thing to hear about. :D

He didn't just sing the song for publicity or some other intangible reason, but he acted it out himself.
